possible rtek issues

So heres the story. I went to the gas station last weekend and it ran fine on the way there, after i filled up it ran like crap like it was loading up at bottom end and smoking like there was extra oil in the premix. I've been checking things that could be causing issues like possible vac leaks. Last nite I noticed its still doing the same thing, so I went to check codes on my rtek and 5 things poped up then disappeared(didnt get to clear them myself) an all I caught was coolant temp sensor. So I backed out of the diag menu, waited then went back into it. This time there was 4 codes on the menu and I was quick enough to only catch the first one which I think was afm temp sensor. Is there an issue with my ecu clearing codes on its own or is there something else that I need to look into?

Maybe you got bad gas. Does your exhaust smell a little like diesel ? I had this happen to me a couple of years ago. Went and filled up my tank and two blocks down the road it was running like crap and smoking. I got out and smelled my exhaust and it had a very light scent of diesel. I went back to the gas station and showed the manager. She called me the next morning to let me know the tanker that was there that day dropped 1000 gallons of diesel into the premium tank. Drained my tank, changed my fuel filter, new plugs, and 5 gallons of premium from a different station and everything was back to normal.

What version of the software are you running? What ECU version do you have (shown at the top of the ECU Setup screen)

I highly doubt its the ECU clearing codes, but just a display issue with the software. New error codes are received and displayed every second. If the codes disappear right away, it probably means the codes that do flash are just crap left over in the Palm's memory and as soon as it gets an update from the ECU (which is no codes) then it updates the screen.

boosted - I have kinda noticed a diesel smell finally, since its been a bit windy. May have to do the same.
turbo2ltr - software is v2.1.0 and the ecu is a N332. Ok, I didnt know or remember that from reading the manual on the rtek. Thanks for the info, got more stuff to look into then.
