OK so I just got my palm TX today. Loaded the rtek 2.0 software into it and plugged it into my ECU with the serial cable I got from digital tuning.

The thing doesn't see my ECU!

Any one have any ideas why?

 

OK a little more info.
My main concern is that there are several different settings for connection on the T/X. There are two that list "serial" devices. I have tried both but I still cant connect.

So has anyone used this palm to run the Rtek and if so what settings did you use?

I know its compatible, just not sure how.

Ok so its all better now.

The connector is funny, when you connect it the palm will beep.
I have my palm settings set to connecton/ serial to generic GSM and it works fine.

My TX was having some similar problems. It would only connect sometimes and not for long. It wasn't just with the Rtek, it wouldnt sync with the PC over serial either until i turned off Bluetooth.

Once i did that it worked fine.
