ok so i was having P21 errors while trying to review logs. so i called pocket logger and they said to wipe out software and re-install 2.1 it was an issue with the new upgrade they had and i had to re-install

so i hard reset my t3 palm and i went to my lap top loaded up palm software since i have not used my laptop for palm previously. freash start. completely no chance to have issue with old software.
loaded up palm software loaded up rtek on to the clean palm.


i go out to my car and hook it up and i change my vr analog settings to read my lc-1 analog out. i change p/w to d/c and while i have the car off, i do a test LOG.


i leave it on for about 15 secconds then end the log. i go to review.


i get

NVRam Checksup failed . ecu must be initialized all settings will be reset!!!


so i click ok cuz i have no other option......

it resets i loose my map......

i turn off key and unplug t3 and plug in palmIII

i plug in my old palm 3 into the ecu and load the map back onto the ecu. successfully.


i turn off key and plug t3 back in and reset my vr settings and everythingg shows ok. so i start a data log again. it works. i go to view my settings and all i see is p21 lookup failed... ok... click ok... then Missing ecu def in is dysplaced. so i click ok and it loops back and forth between both error messages. i have to click reset button to get out of continuious loop........



turn off key and turn it back on....
i get same problem over and over

i do another hard reset on palm. reload the program.

i then go back in reset vr settings and i then go to the log screen. my perameters are not showing. all i see is rpm map and coolant temp. i go into perameters and change and click program. it does not take my settings. it continues to show coolant temp rpm and map.

i turn off car and try again. i then get another "initialize" message. so i gave up........




my rx7 will not start. my battery volts say 11.25 while the car is off. durring this whole time i did not have my car on

 

upgraded to the newest software. got things sorted out by calling pocketloger. they are really awesome over there
