can i remove my AFM with the Rtek 2.1?

This site is gonna explode when the afm upgrade drops if it ever does

 

is that upgrade expected because I am just putting together all the parts for a build not this winter but the next

 

They are still have the 2.1 for the s5 to deal with first

 

Yeah it's very expected, just no actual time frame for it yet.

 

Sadly, I'm starting to think it won't happen until next year-mid year!. Looks like I may have to go with a Megasquirt, which sux because I liked this system.

 

I do think that turbo2ltr was right on which rtek is gonna get it first. The S5 NA car with a stock ecu you can actually remove the afm all together and the car will start and run. Won't idle at all but it will start and might be driveable but I haven't tried that.
