1.7 affect on timing
Just wanted to know if the 1.7 will affect the timing. Will it advance or retard timing from the stock ecu settings.

Timing is stock unless you run over about 9 psi of boost. Then it retards an extra 1 degree for each psi over 9.

I have a 87 TII with a Rtek 1.7, BNR stage 2, RB down pipe, all emmisions removed.
Do I need to do any major tuning on this or am I good.
