I picked up a 62-1 P-Trim Garrett T04E Turbo from him close to about a year ago. I love the turbo comes on strong and I have had no problems with it what so ever. I just wish I could say the same about the car.

I also picked up a complete Webber DCOE 48 with upper and (modified for no emissions) lower manifolds for a 13b SE motor. Besides learning how to tune a carb everything is great.

Rob had great feedback, was always willing to help (trust me I called him more then a few times with questions) and he had fast service. I will use him again when needed.

Thanks Rob,
Joe

i purchased a carb hat, and some jets and i was supposed to also get a manual that included a break down of the carb, but you must have forgot, i undertand that things get busy, and he did throw in a silicone elbow for free. so im satisfied, and i look forward to talking to you when i get my car running, and i attempt to tune it.

Hey I haven't purchased anything for my 12at project yet. I plan on it real soon but you was really helpful with answering all the tech questions that I was throwing at you. I give you a thumbs up from a future customer. Keep up the good work!

I had Robert work on my 88 n/a. Tune up, smog, lowering springs, new struts, engine bay clean, window switch fix, and many more general nuissance fixes. He gave me a great deal and did fabulous work. I recommend Rotaryshack highly.

Robert is a awesome guy, I have bought jets for my weber 45 and a carb rebuild kit from him. He is really helpful with jetting and had some good baseline jet suggestions for me to start out with! Will for sure be doing business with him again in the future!

Rotaryshack has its own forum now? wow...

Well lets see... my buying experience went as follows... I ordered a 3200$ package of a ported t2 motor complete with all accessories. I paid in full, and after a huge delay, got the accessories, but no motor! the part thats worth most of the price! after calling a few hundered times, getting false promises with no result, i submitted to the bbb, filed consumer complaints in both my state and cali, and unfortunately it looks like without dropping a few grand on a lawyer, i won't be seeing my money or my motor. I now run a jspec motor because i couldn't afford anything better after losing my azz to the shack. keep in mind, my motor was supposed to be built and shipped within a few months and it has now been YEARS... Robert, I know you'll read this, and I know you know what you need to do to take care or it. you know my number, if you lost it, PM me. The motor, the refund, get it done.

Jeff
ahh, nice post, thanks.. ok, where should i start
jeff bought a turbo 2 basket case car // motor was missing along with all the accessories so he made the purchase with the shack for a streetported motor with all accessories to get his car up and running... so far so good
he sent a deposit and i sent the accessories and got started on the motor.. when the motor was completed he did not send final payment for several months, ok fine.. i waited patiently..

i got the final payment , and shipped the motor. 2 months later i got the motor back and they said they wanted a full refund and they bought a j-spec motor from somewhere else.. i stated there was no refunds on custom built motors, why did you send the motor back? there reply was they never got the motor and i was trying to rip them off!?wtf?!(oh and no phone calls up until this point) i sent them pictures of thier motor (custom painted to thier specs, blue and silver) to show that it was done and what the motor looked like... jerry, his dad got the motor pics and said the motor looks nice but we dont need it anymore.. i explained that on a custom motor build i dont give refunds, sh he agreed to take the motor and he would get it picked up by his shiper.. well he had his shipper show up without any way to load the motor( no pallet jack or liftgate because that costs extra) and i dont have a forklift so there was no way to load the motor.. well ,he never sent another truck, and again decided he wanted all the money back...

i spoke with the BBB and they said i was in the right as well as the local agency in wisconsin, so these guys are pissed and want thier money back and will do anything to get it back..
i wonder how they got the j-spec motor running? the j-spec motors come with a cut wiring harness, i bet he used mine along with alot of the other parts i sent them!!

you got all the motor accessories before your final payment was made ..
accessory list;
complete turbo 2 intake upper manifold with throttle body and intake plenum
complete turbo 2 lower intake manifold with all accessories in tact
complete turbo 2 wiring harness in excellent condition
turbo 2 ecu
2 sets of turbo 2 injectors with fuel rails, and regulator, new fuel dampener in excellent condition
turbo 2 intercooler
factory turbo intake pipe in excellent condition
alternator with brackets and bolts
all msc solinoinds// actuators that go on top of the motor
smog pump
air flow meter
all bolts// nuts to install the above listed parts
and tons of pictures during dis-assembly to aid him in his installation process!!

you got a custom built motor done to your specs so once its built its your motor, even if you change your mind
i just got off the phone with his dad and new he wants the motor!? so... im sending it off again this week... im betting they will keep the motor this time, oh and i told them i will still give them a 1 year warranty from the time that they get the motor, what more can i do?

I just finally read roberts orignal reply to this post and it made me laugh, full of the usual lies. first, he said i had a basket case of a car with no motor... i had a complete car that was missing a few parts off the UIM, and is now a beautiful 7... Second, he made it sound like i didn't have the money to pay... i had originally taken a loan for the full ammount and it was just sitting there. the reason i waited to send the second payment was because HE ASKED ME TO. he said he didn't want the rest of the money until i could see pictures of the motor that "he couldn't send because of computer problems...i waited months for pics, and eventually sent the remainder of the money out of good faith( my mistake). Thirdly, he said he sent the motor and got it back 2 months later.... from when he told me he sent it, i waited over 4 months while calling him weekly and getting either an excuse or empty promise. He later INFORMED ME that the motor had been returned to him because he had underweighted it for shipping. This is when he told me I was now responsible for shipping because he had already paid for it. I tried multiple times but there was always an excuse on his end. After it seemed there was no way i was getting this motor, THIS is when i asked for a refund. common business sense! you cant deliver, you give the customer their money back! After i made these posts online, he finally made contact again, and promised he could get the motor to me again... assuming he would like this whole mess off his plate i accepted his offer and now sit again waiting. Will it come? I'll keep everyone posted for future buying knowlage. And Robert, that's pretty immature of you to twist your story to make me sound like a dick to make yourself look better. All that shows is more lies.

Robert from rotary shack is a great guy and even a better buisness man. he did the prep work on my carb and explained every aspect of my 12a turbo that I need help on and anything extra I might have needed. it took him a little longer on the shipping but that was because he was hunting down a set of stacks for nuthin.

I WOULD NOT TRUST MY ENGINE AND WALLET WITH ANYONE ELSE EXCEPT ROBERT.

I WILL USE HIM AGAIN FOR SURE. GOOD LUCK ROBERT

PS I am still huntin down some of that wisconsin cheese for ya. I never forget.
