Gas is down from Titan.. Titan runs 3.8~3.9's in the eigth..
Gas ran a 4.2 in this run...

Yea Titan is flying .... I think they're probably using a Landcruiser block seeing that the ADRL doesn't have a restriction on displacement. I cannot fathom how on earth those guys are making over 2000hp with those engines. That really does say a lot about Toyota engineering

 

titan ran in the 3s with the car lightened to 2000 lbs and not the 2350 lbs like it ran in nhra sport compact pro class and no it is not running 65lbs of boost guess again !!

 

more boost and yes its geared and weighs more that titan, titan was weighed and geared for 1/8th only , definitely not apples to apples , but a achievement for both in their classes .

BUT THE ROTARY IS COMING when pica, pac and sammy and crew get wound up they will bring the noise

Speaking of Abel... Drag Mania is supposedly coming to Irwindale very soon, so it will be nice to see him out there with both the Civic and Rx8. A friend told me he visited Flaco Racing recently and he saw quite a few crazy projects. Unfortunately I herd it'll take about $10k to get the Rx8 back to the track because stuff needs to be re-certified and it needs new tires etc.
