Went to Import Showdown and won the Modified Street class. Car went faster every pass ending at a 10.2 PB for me but not the 9.x I am looking for. It was too hot and humid to make a best pass as every car was off by a good bit. Car ran flawless and the shifter-tranny combo was 100% idiot proof! Couldnt have shifted it any quicker.

I had put in a new Tial MVR gate and had no idea what spring presure it was at. So I was dialing in the boost every pass. Last pass got it back up to 2.12 bars and it pulled pretty good considering the heat.

The best news was I brought the entire family and they had a ball cheering dad on!

This was a great event, well run! If you guys get a chance ever please come support this one. They give 95% of $$ back out in payouts! I only had 9 cars in my field with a $20 buy in and won $500. The event is back in GA in Nov. Usually each class is full so payouts get nice!

congrats again, glad you represented for the rotaries. didn't get the chance to say bye but i hope you do come to ga in october and november. i think there is another import showdown event, not sure of the dates.

 

I just talked to my Nephew and asked if you were there. He told me you won. He told me about the heat. He finished 2nd in the AWD class. He now has a red GTR. Congrats!
I got my new tranny in and went to the track but the timing lights weren't working...bummer.

Hey Bobby.. Yeah, I was a bit confused on the color swap. The guy that showed up in the silver one (won with a 10.4) I thought was your Nephew's car until I saw the 2 of them outside the cars talking. Those cars can be crazy fast!

Not sure on OH event. Thats a drive... Get out and bang those gears! You are going to love the tranny now!

Here is another pass I just found on YouTube. This was 2nd round eliminations. Car was making a great pass until 4th gear and had to let off as the back started tracking off. The only pass I forgot to check tire pressure and sure enough it wa off by 1/2 psi. 10.4 @ 114
