Will 15x10 6.5" bs on 26x10-15's fit an FC?
Guys, I have a set of 15x10 welds with 26x10-15 M/T slicks, and I am wondering if they will fit a stock chassis 90' FC? I also have a set of 28x10.5-15's available, which also would be the best choice? Thanks!
yes they will, you will have to roll the fenders a bit and raise the rear due to possible rubbin issues , hope this helps

Pretty sure the 28's will be way too tall. 26 Seems to be the tallest you can go on stock wheel wells. That 6.5" backspace is equivalent to a +38 offset for that size (if my math was right) which should be perfect, with some fender rolling like said. I would check to make sure it clears the inner suspension before anything (if you have them) Or measure an extra 1.5" from the stock wheel in.
absolutely they will fit...you can even fit a 12" tire in a fc..the FD can also fit a 12" slick in the factory wheel wheel...
Is this true ? a 12" tire will fit on an FD ?
What about 28" tall ? there is some room left with 26's not sure if it will rub once the car squats with 28's though.

I wouldnt get your hopes to high on the 28". Thats a 12" wide tire. Test fit it though. If you can get it to fit, it will save me a world of ****. Just pull the fenders out as much as you can. Hammer the inner wheel well to the max, and go at it. Wouldnt hurt to try. Ive never 100% had 28's mounted up. I tried rolling a 28x11.5 ET street under the car. And It seemed to not fit. Trailing arms were in the way. But I really cant be sure. Find a friend with a set of wheels and tires being ran on different car. And hook em on up!
The 26's will fit for sure.
Ive ran 26 and 28" slicks on my Mustang. And the taller tire... Makes a work of difference. Its all about the sidewall. Width isnt as big of deal, IMO.
