Doesn't have to be stock tranny in my book. But clutch assisted.

Looks like Ari went 6.0 a few times with some 9.2s.

Both the FB and FC are fast cars but not 5.9 1/8 mile fast. Maybe they both backed off at the big end but did not look like it.
5.9 1/8 equals very, very low 9s 1/4 in a 2600lbs car.

well the weight im not sure. but i really doubt the car is 1800 pounds . and i got 512 at like 21 psi on a s366 borg warner turbo. runs on 110 octane . i personally tuned it and saw the runs . people say the said the same thing at the track

I never said It cannot be shifted, or that a 2300Lb or 2600LB car can't do it, But not with that low of HP

To run a 5.7 with a 2600 LB car you will need about 640 @ the wheels

If your friends car only makes 512 @ 28 psi of boost, he needs a new tuner.

Ive seen it done on a t2 tranny first hand, yet again not with 512 HP.......

SOrry for taking your thread off track mike

my girl's brother has been 5.7 a few times with a turbo2 trans. The car has full interior and subwoofers and amps inside. Doesn't drive it on the street but if he put a muffler on it he could..
