wow.. why all this hate... There really isn't any need for it..
Partytime has been 9.5's way back in the day and for you to discredit someone just because you didn't hear about it IS WRONG.. YOU REALLY NEED TO BE HUMBLE as was stated a few times already.. Your right. It isn't that hard to go that fast so don't be surprised when others do it as well. It just so happens that when they did it you were still wearing diapers and didn't get to hear about it...

Alright, before anyone tries to flame me some more for my "sources," I am at my fathers shop and he just got off the phone with Alberto "Vivo"; also ran 9s in his miata. Vivo said that "partytime" ran 10s all motor aswell, but not 9s. The only time that car broke the sub-10 second barrier was when he added nitrous. Both Vivo and my father say that to run 141mph in an all motor rwd car is impossible. Now, I know two of the pioneers of rotaries can't be wrong on this one. Also, I have here in my hands a picture of a magazine with joe's nitrous powered starlet "el viejo" who ran 9.47 @ 138 mph in 1999. Why would 9.47 on nitrous be impressive in 1999 when someone ran, according to you, 9.5 all motor in 1996? And anymore doubts, he said he'll call sarito or you can ask him personally.

Wearing diapers and learning from the best. I'm sure diapers go around my waist and not my ears.

for some reason it seems hard for you to except it.. best e.t. Joe Perez ran was 9.5 no turbo no nitrous... Like cris said Partytime and Joe perez were way ahead of its time.. I was @ atco raceway on the friday night when joe was going for his license(all motor runs) and put his 9 second runs.. no nitrous on his car.. why so hard to believe? do you know what joe is capable of? you don't know the man and the ones that do, have no problem understanding, what he has done 12 years ago.. your dad is very well respected in the community, plus ur dad knows who I'am. so credibility is no issue, when I tell you 9.5 no nitrous. believe it as true. this by no means takes merits away from your dad. 3 time world champ. but Joe perez holds the N/A tittle..

don't call Vivo, Sarito, Falito, you could call joe direct if you want his phone number, i'll give it to you..

tell ur dad and rolo... he's not that far away... 9.8 to 9.5 only 3 tenths away.. Im sure if your dad puts a full tube chassis car together, he should run well into the 9.5 zone.. I just spoke to Joe Perez a few minutes ago.. Best elapse time 9.54 @ 141 miles per hour...
chassis by Larry King
fuel management: Haltech F-9....

It saddens me to see a 19yr old kid with his head sooo far up his dads *** he can't see anything else....including FACT. Your father has accomplished A LOT but NOT everything. And he is NOT the begin and end all of the sport of drag racing or the rotary. So maybe instead of just repeating things you hear or your daddy tells you, you should do your own research and make up your OWN mind.

Looks like the apple has fallen far from the tree

I know Kilo to be a cool, humble guy but it seems like little Kilito didn't inherit that from his old man..

Good luck kid...

I'm no 1 in the racing scene, but I do know of a few people and kilo was the first one I heard about...anyways all I want to say is that killito if they say he ran 9.5 then shut em up by beating that time...or contact joe yourself instead of getting or sounding big headed...I kinda lost respect for you, even though you don't care I'm just saying....

You guys should stop worrying about who's got the rotary record and start worrying about the Honda's that ARE laying 9.5 passes all day long and do something about it.

I posted a phone number if you wanted to argue that. Word of mouth means nothing unless you've got physical proof. My dad can say he ran 9.2 and people will believe it for all you know.. but the truth is, he didn't. 9.80 is his mark.
