Hey kilito we met before at the pomona race event with your dad,i have the silver FC that you probably saw at pomona like a year ago, but anyways don't forget to include me as in the top,i ran this year 135Mph Low tens then i went best 138 mph on a testntune day @9.87 then i ran my personal best 9.80@137 also ,my car has the same old NHRA weight 2100 lbs now i added a wing for stability,it works good but not tested with new setup. I hope to be in the 140Mph range soon.

I am doing other things to the motor to make some more power because i use my G-force tranny from my Rx3 that i installed with turbo gearing so i don't have the launch i like , best is 1.35 60ft but average is 1.38 60 ft range, Once i make it up on the 300 ft its like a freaking turbo. But tell your dad whats up and is he racing his cars next year?

Sweet! How are you getting so much mph? I don't even think the fwd hondas ran 9.8s at 138! But he is getting his car re-painted right now, then who knows? maybe sell it or build it up again.

P.S. What 1/8th mile did you run when you ran 9.80?

yup there is BISIMOTO HONDA like 1500lbs running 145 mph the last race about 2 weeks ago IDRC,i wanted to race that day so bad but my engine was not too ready.

Thas cool hes getting it ready,Me too i don't know what to do now if there is no racing next year.Sometimes i want to keep it or sell it if the economy goes bad.I really don't have no where to race only 2 race tracks.

IT was in bakersfield on a odd testntune day, just a random test day for v8s and hot rods.I went by myself and had no one to record the runs,Its one of those days where everything goes good.

Just to remind you and your father Kilito straight from turbo magazine in 1996. This is when it ran 9.60's but got to run 9.50's.

Kilito.
I remember when Partytime was running mid to high 9's all motor. It was also around the same time that Switchie was running high 9's also all motor full chassis setup. I was at the track the very first time that car ever ran and it did like low 10's. Your dad (Kilo) should remember the Switchie datsun because he did the nitrous setup on the car that resulted in it running low 9's at the time.
I also remember when Partytime ran low 9's high 8's on the bottle.

BTW. Don't believe any of the times Rene claimed to have ran. The track is short and goes down hill and he has a sneeky pete under the dash!
Rene I just could not resist!
When are you going back to the track? That **** is moving!!!

We tried that rocket fuel thing one time!
It sound and looked good untill the 1/8 mile! Then all the apex seals exited the megaphone!
I guess that's what happens when you don't compensate for the added boost!
Then M3 and M5 came available and also the PR favorite fuel....... opps I can't say that because Enzo will kill me!

My father ran 9.801 at 2100lbs on 26x8 inch tires. None can come close to that.
Well tell your Dad he is wrong.. joe perez 9.5 all day... plus someone posted written information about my facts.. so who is wrong?? Kilito no big deal, don't take this to heart. just information about Joe perez that you guys were not aware of.. Plus your father came from Naranjito P.R. to Florida USA. most likely he wasn't paying attention to what was happening up here.. remember no need to go to the personal.. doesn't serve you any good in the sport.. you have ton's of potential in this sport. keeping an open mind will take you places.. I'm sure you know that.. best of wishes to you and your Dad..

the list is long.. just because they haven't ran in the circuits(IDRC,NIRA,NOPI, NHRA SPORT COMPACT) doesn't mean there is or wasn't impressive rotaries up in the northeast. Plenty of fast rotaries up here, from N/A to turbo charged..
keep doing what your doing and stay focused and you'll continue to do great things.. and stay humble..

you shouldn't have to apologize because you never should have made that comment in the first place. offending someone with a comment like that is a given, so why apologize?

personally i'm not into the drag racing scene. when i finish my car, then i'll give it a shot but that's neither here nor there. my point is i've seen FAST rotaries run in the northeast - at least i can vouch for New York (my hometown) and Jersey! just because they may not get the publicity that other rotaries may get doesn't mean they don't exist. listen to Judge Ito and learn some humility. i'm a fan of your dad, but that won't get you a pass with me when you spout arrogant nonsense like this. and yes, i realize that i'm a nobody, but i suspect the same holds true for a few somebodies ... Ito is definitely a "somebody", but i can't speak for how he took it. for the record i saw the smiley you included, but reading the post you made just before this one gives me the impression that you're not really joking.

Based on the level of sophistication under the hood and the weight that comes along with it I would say it was not as light as the other full chassis cars of the time. The powerplant was equipped with a drysump system and EFI just to name a few. The chassis/body also had a couple of tricks or lightweight parts. This car was so ahead of it's time that even today it would stand out.
I do know that certain other datsun mention above from our neck of the woods weighed in right around 1500lbs.

Nothing taken to the heart. i really wanted hard evidence of a 9.5 pass on an N/A motor. 9.6 is believable seeing how all that takes is a 6.1-6.0 1/8th mile and we've ran 6.16 but 9.5 all day is pushing it.

useless post, eh?

a useless post is one that negates itself - which yours clearly does. if you don't get that, it's fine. i've said my peace and you can like it, dislike it or whatever. i don't really have time care so i'm done with it now.

best of luck to your dad ... oh, and you .
