Yeah, there's very few people racing N/A rotaries. I bet you put Padilla's motor in a very light chassis and it will go low 9's. The reason the Hondas are in the low 9's is because they are light.

This weekend we gonna dyno ML Wankeltrims RX-4 with a 13B PP gasoline motor. We had some issues with overheating the engine after the 1-4th gear 10 000 rpm burnout "lol" We hope to achieve 290 rwhp with the G-Force trans and Ford 9" w 5.67 and spool. Then we might try the 3rd far trailing sparkplug... dyno hp will see it it works!?

Ito is correct, Party Time has been fixed for a long time already...

Joe's been busy working on other cars and driving kenneth so he put his car on hold for a while..

Its funny when people pull MoTeC out of their cars..
I just did the same thing a few weeks ago and man it's a whole new car now.. LOL..

I am no drag racer, but why do people pull Motec's out of their cars? Why did you?

That's what I'm saying. Put Padilla's motor in a tube chassis or even if he lightens his 1st gen, BAM, low 9 seconds I guarantee it. If only I had the money.....

I wish you luck on your project but your going to need quite a bit more power than 290 to the wheels to beat the N/A record.

Bad luck today on the RotoTest. We had the primaries and exhaust system changed, since we dynoed it in January 2005. 2 silencers, only 2" collector and a long exhaust connection for the big suction fan made the engine produce almost 100 hp less than 2005. We disconnect some exhaust things but find only 20 hp more. End of day was when we disconnected the 2 to1 pipe from the 3" mufflers and the engine sputtered and lived on with a big kaboom when the exhaust pulses shorted the batt cable and the engine stopped immediately!! Though luck but next time we will sort things out better on the engine dyno (hopefully).

I had a motec and i will never go back to it,I blew like 10 motors in a row with that motec.I switeched to the good old haltech fuel only and ran 8 seconds off the trailer in the first pass.We are talking a around 7 years ago since the install and could never go down the track with motec.Motec is for people who have money and can afford the tech support i learned that on my own.I made a mistake doing that switch and literally went backwards.I like technology but Motec is not for the low budget racers very nice setup but expensive.
I paid around 5k for the unit M4Pro and had it installed with a 2k harness.I thought i could make big power but Mistake already done.I got frustrated for a year and could not get the engine to run perfect,I sold the motec for $1,500 dollars and bought a Haltech F-10-8.Funny but simple technology is the easy way to make some good power and reliable motors.

True that. I think the Puerto Ricans can vouch for that.
