No I drive slicked down with the wheelie bar on it!!!!as for the smog it is pre 1975 so no smog required!!!I have been pulled over once, the cop asked if I came from the drag races?he noticed my slicks!!!he pulled me over for loud exhaust.he just checked me out and said "just take it home"!!!!I had a borla straight through muffler!!now I have a three inch flow master I am using on the street and strip!!!!

I can vouch for him. He drives this car all over the place, it's badass. And what pollution? He runs on e85. In Cali, all model years 75 and older are smog exempt, so you can put any motor in you want.

Here in Illinois our car smog laws are pretty lax...any vehicle 1995 and older are smog exempt..

street legal is just that. tires are not that big of a deal. if you drive to the track it sounds streetable to me. i see some full interior cars at the track with big hp that are not streetable or drive to the track. i bought my car with no interior and will put as much of the interior as i can. i won't have a radio don't need any other noise than the exhaust.

Not to get in to peoples case's. What's the big deal about this street stuff? Here at aus there is a lot of fast and full interiored cars that has nice **** in it... But , it doesn't matter about the street stuff you guys argue about done there. When you line it up, it doesn't matter if its is a street or strip car. Cause a street car can beat a all out strip car if the all out strip car is break down.

Hey mates I think a real street car would be a car with ac, heater, stock everything and busting fast **** time. Thats a street car.

I would think if you put a massive hairdryer and run methanol and rice corn fuel would not be considered street car. Cause its already altered. Just like a kangaroo with double adjustable springs still a kangoroo?? No i think not? Right mates?

Just messin and bustin you rotorhead a bit.. Just kidding mates...
