tire pressure

does anyone know what is the lowest tire pressure u can run in regular street tires? Meaning toyo t1-s not drag radials.

Going racing this weekend and with this cold weatehr i cant get traction at all so i want to run as low tire pressure that i can safely.

Low air pressure on street tires does not always help, sometimes higer pressure works better. You need to try settings at the track to find what the best is.

With radials this is kind of what happens when you drop pressure

Maybe knock them down 5lbs, but for the most part, there’s no point. I realized after I was making decent power, breaking Toyo 275 T1's loose in 3rd, there’s no more point to a traditional radial on the strip

Bias-Ply slicks act differently to lower pressures, as do the drag radials
