Think he was a sickly guy and passed away a few years ago due to his health... last week I was at the barber shop and an old PR man saw my PR racing t-shirt and asked about David Turbo... He gave me stories about David, Rafalito and a few VW guys from back in the day... I started following the PR scene about 10-12 yrs ago and this man was a legend back then and what he accomplished in the 90's is simply amazing and some guys now a days with all this fancy gadgets cant even come close...

"David turbo" as called by all, was a seriously talented and dedicated tuner/racer/builder. From the Island of Puerto Rico. He loved turbo charged rotary engines. David was tunning building turbo charged engines back in the early 90's.He had many great achievements. Crispeed could shine in if he wants.
David had a really bad accident @ salinas international speedway in Puerto Rico a few years ago. He got seriously hurt but survive to deal with many broken bones.
Destroyed both legs, One leg had bolts, rods and all kinds of pins all over. He was on a wheel chair for some time. while recovering from the accident he got better and worst. everyday was a struggle.
Eventually he passed away, at maybe the prime of his life. the rotary community lost a great contributor, by the lost of his life.
David was ahead of his time. truly a big lost.
