Speednyc in the 10s, aiming for 9s now...
Congrats to Roan on his first 10sec passes!
At Maryland he pulled off his first 10sec pass with a 1.7 60ft and at the Englishtown event today just went 10.6@137mph. Keep in mind this a full weight, leather interior, AC and power steering. He built the motor with team members Chris and Marley.
With the support of the SpeedTek team (Navin & Noel) and Enzo, he is aiming for 9s on 30psi.
Here are some vids, sorry they are from a cellphone.
Congrats Roan!

I learned about the MIR times from Roan on the cell recently, and was pretty astounded. He's built what amounts to a street car that has the potential to run 9s at 140+ mph. Simply amazing, keep up the great work guys

Thankseverybody for the kind words. It was a looong time comming. I can't thank my crew Chris, Marly and Navin and Noel from Speed Tek enough. many many late nights and lots of sweat later we're on the way to our goal. Anthony, Enzo, Baggi, and everyone else, thanks for the support and help at the track.
the 10.6 passes were at 25 psi.
front wheels are welds not sure of the model, they were generously lent to me by justin (justturbo2)
car runs a 26x11.5 et street on the back.
can does not now, and probably never will have a cage.
just got home from Enzo's and got the car up to 35 psi now, so this sunday at atco should be interesting if the turbo holds up. it was making some unhappy noises on the dyno and has tons of shaft play. I'm hoping it will hold up for at least one pass this weekend
thanks again everybody!
