Here are the class rules:

Here are the rules for the SICC Sportsman Import Compact Championship drag series. The payouts for each class are based on 16 car field, and winner takes all! The first two event (July 10, @ Fayetteville N.C. & August 08, Capitol Raceway Crofton M.D.) are one day events which will feature 5 heads up classes. The top 16 qualifiers of each class will race head to head utilizing the pro race ladder-#1.vs#16 etc until the last man stands.

Ultimate SICC World Finals 2 Days, South Georgia Motorsports Park November 19-20, has a little twist to it. This race is two races in one, the first day of this two day race will feature our (DOC SERIES) Driveline Only Competition. Racers in each class will only be allowed to race against vehicles of the same driveline make. Example, class Real Street will be seperated in 3 individual classes, Real Street AWD, FWD, and RWD. AWD racers will only race against one another to determine an overall AWD Champ, same goes for FWD and RWD. During qualifying racers will be alloted two qualifying runs, the best pass of the two will determine the racers position on the ladder. The DOC series gives racers an additional chance to acquire a Championship accolade, bonus payout plus bragging rights within their classes.

Day two racers will battle for the SICC Championship, racers will be allotted two additional qualifying passses to make it into the TOP 8 car field. SICC will then combine your first two qualifying passes from the previous day with the current qualifiying passes to determine an overall qualifying average. The racers worst qualifying pass of the event will be dropped and their average will depend on the best three out of four qualifying passes. Example, racer X runs 10.0 and 9.3 which will make him #1 quailfier on Day 1, but day 2 racer x runs 9.9 then 10.4. If we drop racer x worst pass (10.4) his average is 9.73 which will place him higher on the ladder. The normal race format and eliminations will proceed there after until a SICC Champion is determined.

he may be in extreme 72 because i talked to craig from nyc1s who is organizing this and the fastest rwd extreme 72mm class car went a 9.3/9/4 not saying we can all comete with that but do you really think he will duplicate that pass every time?

and thats not in street class.. thats extreme72... theire is no extreme street.. and do you think a guy from pr will show up to the carolinas to race in an event that mightnot make full feild/payout?

if you want to pm me with ur input or call me directly please pm me and ill talk to craig and see what we can do to even out the competition.. we want as many cars and drivers as possible to come out and have a good time no matter if they are the top dog or not.

again my cell phone number is easy to get just pm me and ill see whati can do to accomidate or pass the word on as to helping everyone out.

Just got off the phone with him and the event is sounding better and better. Pretty sure I should be at both events in the real street class. I hope I just dont start hearing about changes in turbo size to help some people get in slower classes.

Having to have the same manufacturer for car and motor messes it up for alot of us old schoolers. Whats the big deal? A 13b Rx3 can race; but a13b Corolla can't. It seems like all the orgs are trying to eliminate the old schoolers. I remember Nopi starting that crap. FWD's are very competitive now, so I just don't see a reason to not allow the old schools(with different motors) a chance to race. Make us wear more weight, smaller turbo or whatever; but don't eliminate us.

I guess I will be there in the "sissy boy" bracket class.

should be no rule on motor swaps for 1980 and older. Most swaps are in the 70's so this would eliminate the 240/2jz stuff, etc...

so far its looking good... crowd spectators and drivers alike... the more you talk about it and push it the more people are likely to come. we got a few good members in the supra community, looks like some fast evo guys we be their along with some dsm's and u know the nyc1s is bring some stand up ***** fast honda boys down to shake it up.

again the more you talk about it and push it on the boards the more people will reamember and push to be their.

they will be doing some test and tune as well. so if you worried about fitting in as class its not a worry come enjoy the event(night race) support the import community.

Well, glad I didnt take the chance on the 10hr drive. I have kept tabs on what went down and hope the guys that did make the 10hr drive are not too upset and continue to support SICC. Sounds like many of them just drove up to IFO so fun was still had.

IS Sept. 11, 2010 the correct make up date?

Better weather!
