I just got around to port matching my JW intake to my E&J Throttlebody. Man, there was alot of material that needed to be removed. ALOT!

Also, on the lower intake ports... alot of work needed to be done there as well.

Does this Rxparts intake require the same amount of attention?

Eric, allen asked the same question this weekend at the track. once he had the TB and lower intake in his hand he was happy with the way the ports line up. i can tell you they line up absolutely perfectly, no port work needed. hopefully allen can chime in here with an unbiased opinion.

It's all true Eric. This intake is beautiful! Unlike the JW intake the carb flange matches the throttle body perfectly and the engine flange is perfect as well. There is no huge step like the JW's have. I spent at least two days opening the ports and runners up on my JW to match the throttle body and engine but the RxParts intake would just bolt up and go!

What, I'm not good enough to play with Roan's intake?

Aaron, i kept trying to hang with you, but you were too busy for me all day.
Hopefully once more ppl start running the rxparts intake, people wont keep making the mistake of buying and modifing the jw. some ppl like to learn the hard way i guess.

I wanted to show the intake to the PR guys.. Don't worry, we'll try to organize it better for Atco

I've seen a few but you have to have an experienced fabricator/welder to make one.

Im scared to tell how many hrs i have into my JW intake....
Although i will say it's pretty dam perfect right now...

Can't beat just bolting up a part without having to do anything besides pulling it out of the box,bag,etc..

That alone is worth every penny in my book...

Roan, a friend of mine got a S2k with a sneeky pete.. Do you think the RxParts intake will help me win a big money race?
He agree to run on motor only.. I get to disconnect the shot and look over the car for as long as I want. What's your opinion buddy, ole pal :-)

Anthony thinks I don't stand a chance against a stock S2K :-)

Car is 90% completed but the owner grew a few inches since and he can no fit in the FD... Well to be honest, he still fits but with the sunroof open. It's to cold to drive around NY with your head sticking out the roof.
