Thumbs up I don't know if it will ever be like it was in the past?

Adam's 7 was nice and fast. It would be nice for him to bring it out to some of the local events here in California. But, I don't think that will ever happen again.

As for Able there are several rumors that have been floating around for a couple of years that the little red R100 is going to make a come back.

I really hope it is true because that car is cool to watch at track. Lets see what happens next year.

Memories!!!!

Efren Vazquez.
It clearly states who he was.
FYI. A couple of different drivers piloted the R-100 during it's racing history. Abel had his hands full with the RX-7 at the same time so there was a need for a driver.

History lesson...... Who was the frist person to put the R-100 in the 7's.?
Let's see who really knows the history of the R-100.

that guy was a long time friend of flaco and he raced the r100 when they had a 2 car team with K&N.... to make a long story short, they both had a falling out about money or whatever and the keys when to Manny after Efren left.... This was ages ago so my info may not be 100% correct

Saruwatari's car was awesome but I hated the fact that has was always scared **** to run Vinny Ten. I personally have seen him refuse to line up with him on at least 3 seperate occasions.

hehe, have you ever spoken to Vinny? just the way he speaks would make anyone scared ... Speaking of Vinny, whats the deal with the 3 Vanishing point 350z's that was built for Ten and the Rubio's? Thats alot of paper to shell out only to have them sitting idle in the Performance motorsports warehouse...

Efren did it once cant remember if it was at a BOTI or IDRC race up in lacr 7.97 letting off, Efren and his brother Martin use to pit crew for abel when abel started racing the r100 in 1996 and about 5-6 years after, they race in division 7 with a ex-pro stock truck and a dragster, they are a big part of the r100 and old rx7 sucess.....

Correction, I did remember the 7.97 as stated above, with Efren at the controls....I think Manny had the lowest ET of the r100's history, 7.70's i believe...

i have. Vinny's loud, but he's good people though. he has a helluva lot more character than Paisley. if Vinny didn't scare you, that damn pit of his did. on a more serious note, i never knew Adam refused to race him. pity ... it would have been good regardless of outcome. i would have been truly torn between seeing the Rx-7 win or just a cool cat from NYC with a badass Supra.

He retired the Fd to campaign a NSX which amounted to nothing, then a Civic. He was the **** when he raced the FD but did almost nothing after that.

Yeh I'm aware of the story. Seems like Abel lost a lot more after he left also.
