well, i only spoke to him once, so i don't think i'd go that far. he was definitely more stand-offish than Vinny though. i just figured it was because he didn't know me from Adam. on the other hand, i met Vinny several times, but i still remember the first time and he was just cool with me from day one - sorta like that cousin you don't see or talk to very often, but you guys click and wanna jump someone everytime you do meet up.

yeah, from what i understand the NSX was pretty much a dismal failure and to be honest, i never even knew he had setup a Civic. the Rx-7 was his 15 minutes, i guess. perosnally, i think he had a lot more left in him and could have lasted much longer if he had not tried to outdo himself - sorta like premature ejaculation or something ... either way, he still has my respect and no one can take his accomplishments from him. love him or hate him, he still ran one of the most phenomenal rotaries in history and i'm glad i was able to witness some of it.

i thought i read/heard that he has a shop now where he's focusing on modifying and tuning exotics - Ferraris and such.

Adam is deffinately the quickest on this side of the world for an IRS RX-7. I still have a set of brand new axles for a FD that were made by the same person who did them for him. One set have many low 9 sec runs with 1.3's 60ft's.

They are just regular 300m but for some reason they seem to work the best out of all the other ones that came about later to present.

Ahhh... I doubt if that's Chicago as the video indicates. The announcer is speaking spanish the entire time and the track looks totally unfamiliar. Probably some track in PR.

It's strange since I also have a set of OLD 300M axles that also seem to work the best. They are about 7 or 8 years old and I got them from the driveshaft shop. These were one of the first sets they ever made. They are lasting so I'm not complaining.

the track is in wisconsin, at the begining of the video the announcer does say the driver name and where he from, plus if it was PR, where the mountain and ect...
