Lovely run. It looked like it was a bit slow off the line but wow waht pickup. Amazing.

 

Chivi working on rotaries now, and damn took the car to a PB right away!!!

 

Just saw that run in GRS that car is fast.. Is that a run done with a 20b? Congrats to Sammy promotions..

Thanks for clearing that up noel melasa.. I think PR cars has more edge than the aussie. If the rumor is true that PAC is running a 4rotor, and the PR guys is running 6's with their 20b...

 

No its a 20b mate as the governing body wouldn't allow it to be listed as a 20b if it was a 26b , ANDRA which is our drag racing governing body make and enforce the rules , trust me when i say its a 20b , whoever is spreading this **** funny rumour has no clue at all .
The one in this thread has three turbos, and pac has one, they sound very very different from that alone

 

I don't think so... PAC has run 209, 207 & 205 which clearly shows that they are making serious power.. Sammy Promotion isn't making they power like PAC, but they got a good handle on the clutch hence the reason for the 6 second pass.. Clutch tuning is the biggest issue the PR Cars have.. Some guys can't affort to bring in a clutch guy from the US but the ones that can affort it, will not do it because of pride.. They rather blame the chassis tuner for their tireshake problems

yeh too easy mate, any of these cars that are running 200mph are doing a bloody good job .
Some people can say some funny things to back up their own team , but unless you ask like you have i suppose you can never tell, and the two cars sound worlds apart but as we have explained they are two different beasts with the same heart

 

maybe some of these guys can go after titan motorsports...would love to see a rotary beat them

 

Not even close. Those guys are runnin consitently inthe 6.4s

 

the rota will have its day , its coming faster every year.

 

the 3 rotors 20bs are nowhere close to the boost levels of the 2jzs infact Abel did 6.79 at 209 mph with a gt-55 at 38lbs of boost pressure there is no 2jz on the planet that could do that with that boost level and that what i love about the rotaries.

 

i think you'll find with the new billet parts and more to come the boost levels wont be a problem.
There is always more parts on the run now for rotaries that will bring the playing field back . I have faith in the dirty little engine too rain supreme again
