Queens St. are the only drag 4-rotor that I know about that are doing anything, and they're not that fast. . . relatively speaking, of course.

Yeah, and why do you think they're not that fast?

It think it has done well for a chassis that was not built to be an all out 6 second race car and a motor that was built from S4 scraps that were laying around the shop. Also it didn't get much track time since it was built.
Bill Nabhan drives several customer cars on race day, so I would imagine that he don't get the required time to work on the BMW during race day.

Don't get me wrong. I think the work those guys do is nothing short of awesome. I should have put more emphasis on "relatively speaking." Their BarB runs DEEP 7s and they upped the power and dropped weight on the 4-rotor. 1664HP is no joke.

Like everyone has pointed out, once they get that chassis dialed in, it should get real interesting.

Just had a chance to look at the video

Can anyone confirm the actual length of the track?

Also is it going down hill?

Super curious..

Maybe there is a website with the specs on that track?

The track meets NHRA specs and yes it is a full 1/4 mile and yes it does go down hill, unlike our crappy 1/4 mile in Fontana which goes uphill.

Just Did a google search..

I think the E.T. Record is 6.74 and MPH record is 209

Saw something saying 6.74 @204

Not that it really matters....If this is the case then Abel still has the record..for now atleast...

Can a Mod open this thread:
www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?p=9023286

Ok, how many true rotary heads would like to see the PAC car and Abels RX8 line up at a track here in the states?
Would be nice to see them run against each other..

Even if it is 6.74, it's only a matter of time before Pac beats that. I just hope Abel gets back out racing, we need him back in the sport.

Just because it's a NHRA track, doesn't mean it's 1320 feet. Why do you think so many records are broken in St.Louis.

Short tracks usually gives a lower MPH... The Australian Piston & rotary cars seem to have the proper MPH plus their 1/8 mile times are in sync with their 1/4 mile times. I conclusion, I don't think the tracks are shorter. If you compare GAS times with similar cars from the US, you'll find them to be very close.

Abel said his .74 was done in Vegas on the same day he ran 2 other 6 second passes.. He said the time slip got lost, but he will contact the NHRA to see if they will send him a copy.

So three 6 second passes in one day? And all the haters continue with the "One hit wonder bullshit" jajajaja.

PACPerformance Mazda 6 6.75 at 201 Mph

when Abel ran his fastest time it was posted in Rotar News.com and that was in April 2005 the time was 6.764 at 204.35 mph so PAC PERFORMANCE has the record plus i am sure that they will soon run a faster time.

Pac 6.75 in car video footage.. Hooray for billet 20b iron.... My comment on the PAC vs ABEL, it's all about the video that has the time on the board stands... I have not seen a video of abel run with the 6.74 209??? Run.. But PAC has a video and on board video of the 6.75 201mph run.. In the rotary world here in Puerto Rico, Australia and hopely US video clears the confusion on the HE OR SHEgay say... lol.. Turbosmart billet plates kick ****...... Rockyroo Jack Did it again.... Push the Abel and Rocky race match .... come on hype it up... It would be nice to have the evelope be pushed whether its a puertorican car, Aussie car, or US car.. We all just need to see a KICK *** race to see who's the "BEST"...... Here is the on board run of ROCKYROO JACK FROM PAC!!!!!

I can't wait for the Queen St. Racing quad rotor to be put on a well built, pro mod car.. LIKE rockyroo jack, anthony of maztech, or abel.... If you have a well built pro mod car worth 100k some $$$.. It would be a kick **** car... 1664 horse power on a quad rota engine is going to be a monster.. QSR toss out the BMW and buy a PRO MOD car.. Start competing... But cant knock the pink superman car of QSR.. that is an impressive car....

There's another 4rotor turbo full chassis out of NZ... It's a Protege wagon named Lawtons

Rocky & I talked about the billet plate and I think one of the main reasons from moving from a stock plate was the availability issues. Mazda Japan no longer makes new thick irons and the ones that were made by Mazda USA is just as expensive as a billet plate. The boys would actually get more passes out of a stock plate vs the billet. His exhaust manifold design as well as wastegate placement are very important. Rocky is the brain being the engine & tuning and he will not rest till he gets to the bottom of a part failure. He tracks down & fixes every failed part before he moves on to something else.

gotcha on that.. technology and knowledge get you ahead of racing... Just to add some other video that speaks for itself on the arguement of who is the fastest... Video like this clears confusion on who is the fastest, instead of the he say shegay say....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBPhyJOHvoU Nayeli 7.09 191mph
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kpz1PyHRnsE Nayeli 7.09 193mph
No need to look for time slips that are lost... Video backing the time of the run and mph... And to add to it its a 3/4 chassies, not no pro mod....PR kick ****!!!!!

BE NICE FOR ABEL to post video of the RX8 when he ran 6.74 209mph???? Talk about the Las Vegas heat... What do this ignorant people mentioning about hot???? They think Australia is ICELAND or ANTARTICA on the Summer time.... hehehe obviously the people that made that comment have no knowledge of other places or country.. Plus, I recall if I'm right, most of the time people run in LV they run through the night... Which is a bit cooler.....

^ I like the way you think

Hate to change the topic, but Nayelis did 7.09 without a billet shaft or any of the other "exotic" parts. He also had a regular steel 9" housing and not a modular rear end like most of the cars today. The car was very simple car from a humble guy (Siguel) of few words

Abel's 6.76 run was done at 9.30 am in Vegas

On a side note, who would lose a world record-breaking time slip? Nice to see everyone stepping it up in the rotary game. Props to PAC.

How much did Nayeli weigh on that run? Not trying to start anything but I heard rumors of many PR racers under weight. Again this is only rumors.

I like how Pac has video, timeslip and weight. That's how all record times should be displayed.
