It better be soon if he wants to keep the title. Looks like they are doing amazing things down under.

has anyone been able to clarify the times, as on fastest time tables on numeroous websites its listed abel as doing a 76 not a 74, so is there a link to a vid of abels run, or anywhere that can clarify it, as all we got is some guys sayong yeh i seen it run a 74, but we dont know why no one for years told everyone to update the fastest time recorded.

Im not taking sides, ive just been reading into this and it seems everyone is jsut getting confused

Abel IBARRA fastest time was at a NHRA event in april 2005 and the time was 6.764 at 204.35 his best mph is 209.97 at 6.79 so PAC performance has broken the record.

Flaco wrote his time on the "Official record" thread, but it got deleted while the mods were cleaning up the thread.
Your best bet is to wait on him to reply

I hear ya .......... 209 is the magic number to beat

Happy to see you guys down under pushing the 20b into new waters.. No one here is really running a 20b besides Carlos Racing in PR and that's not even a "big dollar" engine. He's running Nibo's old combo

records are broken

Records are broken, weather it be thee record, your personal best,or your buddy that that just put a tenth of a second on you personal best.I don't know Abel personaly but he might wait till thee record is really broken.if this can be verified, hats off to the new record holder.Abel will come out to play again go like 6.50's at 215 then sit back to another four years watching us out of his rear view mirror!hell I am not sure but I think when he had his 2 rotor cars running we were all chaseing him then.credit is due to all that race,or just trying to do better then the last time you were out. I think i am getting better,in the last four months i have gone from high 11's to low 10's in the 1/4mile.i got kicked off the1/8mile for going to quick.so do i have a 9 second car right now.don't get me wrong I would like to say one day I have the fastest rotary automatic here in southern California.so come on able light up the boards with some 50's so all the Abel haters have something else to look up to you for!

Do you honestly think they would say yes?? A full PP 20b is unmistakable

I just got off the phone with George... Rocky lifted around the 1100ft mark and the Turbosmart controller was set to 10lbs less than what it's tuned for.
Imagine what will happen on a full pass with full boost

Jambo 2010, here we come!!

No one has been able to tame the 4 rotor yet? Just imagine what times could be had with a 4 rotor with a chassis to be able to put it to the ground.
