I ordered the new axle assembly that are supposed to be unbreakable, well no one I know has broken them. So hopefully no broken axles this season!

I spoke to the son of Salinas Speedway today .. the unofficial date for the next event is Jan 31st- Feb 1st.
Will keep you guys posted when I get more info.. NO excuses this time!!

There will also be a test and tune session the weds before the event wich is the 28th i believe. The main event on sat and sun will be piston vs rotor so team usa and team PR will divide up into Team Piston and team Rotor. This should def be a crowd pleaser !!!! I expect to see all you rotor guys there booing the piston team no excuses this time!!!!

I also got word of the date change yesterday.. Roan, cancel those plans 
I'll definately be there on Wednesday night and probably leave on the Tuesday after the event. This time I gotta go fishing, I don't care!! I'm walking with my rods & reels and I gotta go to the beach!! I haven't been to the beach in 1 year 
and I'm what you call an "island boy"
Now I hope this is not a hype fest like the last event where we had tons of guys commiting to go, but only brave soul from NY actually walk the walk
Btw, he had a time of his life, might I add
Anthony make sure all your house work is finish.. PR in 2 months, no excuses this time

spoke to the son of Salinas today. He told me the event was cancelled because of cost reasons.. All US cars will depart from PR on Saturday
Plans for a spring Etown Event is still possible, but still no solid date in mind..
2-3 Key PR cars will not be racing as they use to, but I would name them when the info goes public in a few weeks.
We have a few decent events on the East Coast this year. Lets support those races in record numbers, so we can do our part in stimulating the economy

Yes the event at salinas was canceled. But not all the cars will be returning. Look for some of the US cars to appear at PR test and tunes until the weather breaks here up north. And you will probably see some pop up at some of the typical hang outs like sporty dyno.
"Import Revolution" is trying to put on similar events at US tracks, if they come our way lets do our best to support them.
