SCHWEET!

The only thing is, the 20B cars from PR might not make the list to the Pan Ams

whys that mate, is it a logistical thing as well, i can imagine its a tough thing to transport whole race teams over the globe, but if at all possible it would be great if all the big hitters can show for a good event,
hears hoping that pac will actually make the trip, im not wanting to make you all believe its gospel at the moment as its early stages buy the looks of that interview .
I think we just need more of the major racers in the US to get a hold of pac and convince them to stick it out and make the trip

The deal with the PR teams is that they do run a number of events during the year and they get points according to the cars performance,winnings.ect,ect.Then at the end of the season the teams, cars with the better, highest performance points win the trip to USA,so lets say that SIGUEL and SAMMY dont meet, run or perform good enough they wont be selected,in that case the TEAM has to cover all the expenses if they want to come.

Yup, the PR cars that come to the Pan American nationals are the top 16 cars that's in the points race at Salinas... If you're not in the top 16 and would like to race at Atco, you'll need to pay your own expenses etc to get here..

I was told that Abel's car is not ready to race... It (chassis) needs to be re-certified, plus other costly stuff needs to be done before it ever sees a track. I think most of their resources are going into his brother's car which was the former AEM RWD Civic that Papadakis raced a few years ago.

Also don't think you'll see Siguel or Sammy at the Pan American nationals unless they pay their own way..

And if they do pay their own trip, they can't race under PR's team, so they have to qualify under the US team.

Kind of agree, as either car gets lots of seat time. Sammy was on a roll for a month or so, and then it kind of dissapear

Another thing is the Pan American nationals is a bracket event. PAC is not coming here to run against an 8 second car, so that means another class has to be created for the pro cars. Maybe a quick 8 heads up class. It's not impossible to achieve but convincing Joe Sway to spend extra money to import a few extra cars plus make a new class etc might be difficult.
PAC main's reason for coming here is not to prove a point, it's to fulfill a long time career goal & to establish both themselves & their sponsors brand in the US. For what Rocky is trying to achieve with this trip, the pan American nationals is the only event that will deliver those results.

So long story short, they're coming over for the money and women.
