August 31 - Kansas City, MO - Kansas City International Raceway (5th annual)
September 21 - Tulsa, OK - Tulsa Raceway Park (2nd annual)
October 19 - Dallas, TX - Texas Motorplex (3rd annual)
November 9 - Montgomery, AL - Montgomery Motorsports Park (6th annual)
December 14 - San Antonio, TX - San Antonio Raceway (5th annual)

I planning to attend as much as these that I can since in also live in Dallas but I do plan to make it to the Pan -am's at ATCO in July.

There is no race like the pan ams, by far the best import drag race in the nation
check this out, I got a response back from IFO about the weight mins.

Says here that the datsun 1200 is not allowed in the NHRA and also the mazda rx2...is there a reason for that, or I'm I reading it wrong?

I think all bodies are allowed, puerto rican cars run starlets and 1200s when they come out to race, the e-mail response I posted was from the UFO series....

Very true manny, I would see many of the mazda guys walking around the pits on race day (thats if they even showed up) with completed cars sitting at home in there garages, then there complaining why there is no more CA or west coast races.....

Why do you think that is?

On the east coast most guys I know drive 3-4 hours to get to the track for 3 passes on a test and tune night!!!

I have no idea, I guess you have to love drag racing, but if a car show comes to town, you will see them all there with there cars

you couldn't be anymore correct then you are right now...west coast lost there hunger for import racing, which in turn in my opinion is why the tracks are closing down...Then people want to bitch and complain why there are no tracks to race at...

and if there is a will there is a way...you got to love the sport even if its for 1 pass or 3 pass's loving the sport is what it's all about...
