March 29, 30 Commerce, GA Atlanta Dragway

April 5, 6 West Palm Beach, FL Moroso Motorsports Park

April 26, 27 Atco, NJ Atco Raceway

May 3, 4 Englishtown, NJ Old Bridge Township Raceway

June 28, 29 Morrison, CO Bandimere Speedway

July 18, 19 West Valley City, UT Rocky Mountain Raceway

August 9, 10 Petersburgh, VA Virginia Motorsports Park

August 23, 24 Englishtown, NJ Old Bridge Township Raceway


In addition to the events above, NOPI will conduct two events not sanctioned by NHRA featuring sportsman racing and all the same lifestyle events synonymous with the NOPI Drag Racing Series. Those events will be held:

May 17, 18 Budds Creek, MD Maryland Inter. Raceway

August 2, 3 Epping, NH New England Dragway

I was reading the rules for the Turbo Street class. 76mm is the max for us and 2700lbs min. which isn't bad. They now allow fuel cells which is a plus.

Looks like a good schedule with tracks that usually get really good turn outs. I think this could be the start of something good. I hope i am correct.

Angry No West Coast events?

Oh well looks like all the West Coast Racers will have to head over to the East Coast if they want to compete in this Series. I highly doubt many of the local Southern California Racers will travel 1500-3000 miles.

We all know this was coming,west coast racers and fans kinda fell off over the years, look at the englishtown and atco races, fans and racers are really into import drag racing over there, well Im allot closer to the races here in dallas so I see no problem with the new schedule, once I get my car done that is.....there is always the U.F.O. series, 11 import races all really close by

March 16 - Shreveport, LA - Red River Raceway (5th annual)

September 21 - Tulsa, OK - Tulsa Raceway Park (2nd annual)
October 19 - Dallas, TX - Texas Motorplex (3rd annual)

Just one stop at MIR in 08 and its not even a NHRA sactioned event. Odd MIR seemed to be one of the strong markets.

Don't see anything on weight min. I sent and e-mail asking about it, seems a pretty good series to look into besides the low payouts.better get rolling on the 808
