I understand the fundamentals of racing, i have been doing it for a long time. But the simple fact is that without a larger volume of competitive cars the aftermarket parts manufactures are not going to produce the parts to keep our outdated motors running. If that happens it will just be a matter of time before they are extinct. I wouldn't expect anyone to hand out their secrets on a silver platter but if i were going to build a car that i planed on being competitive with it wouldn't be a Mazda. There is just so much more info out there on other engines that it would be counterproductive to have to "figure things out" on your own. As for the racers sharing info between themselves i don't know, i am not or never will be at that level.

''EVERYTHING WE RUN ON OUR CAR UPS CAN DELIVER IT TO YOUR HOUSE TOO''

How much would it cost to have a good tuner sent to 78028

Justin car trapped 187! MPH that car was the potential to run 7.2-7.1 with that trap

NHRA needs to decide if they want a 2 car 2jz race
or have the cars the packs the stands and bring the most excitement to the paying fans..
The 2JZ engines WILL make more pwr than a 1.3 liter rotary IF the 2JZ is able to run W/O RESTRICTIONS!, this is mostly due to the displacement factor than anything else. The NHRA needs to leave the rules alone the way that they are presently until someone steps up again. Justin did run some sick MPH passes during the event and if he gets his 60ft. down a bit more he'll run quicker as well w/o changing anything else. Yes I do agree that the NHRA needs to decide what they want.

RoTaRyBoYz, why are you always looking to start a problem? I doubt Justin will even answer your questions after typing a bunch of hear say online. I dont understand why you didn't ask Justin this in his face since you were at the track sunday. You waited until you got home to hide behind your monitor to begin to bash people and ask stupid questions. The reason why noone will tell you anything is because you are ignorant my friend. Every single post or thread you made was to bash or type **** to someone. Aren't you in your 30s now, don't you think its alittle childish to start bullshit online? Answer your own questions and bring out that 20b 1st gen monster you've been working on for the last 5 years that noone has seen yet. Do us all a favor and keep your ignorant comments to yourself.

It's really not a good idea to post something affecting someone's character and expect guys not to read it and take it seriously. Who would think he would read this and actually respond to your original post? Does that mean the PR guys read this as well? What was said here could cause issues between the PR guys and the other modified racars and now that it's not true, it's embarrasing. I think you should try to clear things up, were those items really said? Did you make it up? Did your friend make it up?

This entire situation is embarrassing since you indirectly are a reflection of all of us on this forum. If these things were not said, I think the right thing to do is "at least" clear things up. I would not want to see bad relationships between the modified racers because of a comment like the one you made and if one of them read it, I'm sure that others will as well.

I have never spoken a single word to Justin but I've heard nothing but good things when I asked what type of guy he was. I'll give an example. A few months ago Dee mentioned to me when he needed tires, he called a certain company but they did not want to work with him. Justin then called the company (that sponsers him) and asked them to work with Dee, his competitor. Dee got a callback and had some tires available to him via a new sponser. Dee also broke this turbo a while back, Justin gave him a replacement turbo that he spent his own money on (not sponsered) These are just a few examples that I knew about for quite some time (not after reading this thread). Thought it would be a good time to share this.

Anthony

On the small island of Puerto Rico (100miles long X 35 wide) there are 5 active drag strips, soon to be six. Carolina Raceway is open everyday. These guys run their cars three or four times a week. They are constantly trying to improve their times. This is one reason they are so fast. Rotaries go way back in P.R. I remember seeing the 1st one at the strip way back in the 70's. We boricuas are car crazy, period.

dude why dont u go and read over my post and tell me where u see a bash...
my first post was basically telling a "he say" which is bad BUT we all do it...dont come one here and act like u guys dont say "i herd this & i herd that" when u hear it, wether it be online or in person...
my 2nd post was welcoming the guy to the forum & having a little fun with him with the "building a mazda" BS since he lost to a mazda motor a few days ago...
my questions to justin was basically to inform the world on what it would cost to run a modify class car for a full season incase someone, somewhere was looking into doing it since the class is so hot right now...
Jay my 20b is coming along nicely, not quick enough but its getting there...i've had the 20b in that car 3 years now and before that he was running a s5 motor with F9 & t-78.. Jay i dont have to prove anything to anyone with my setup and BTW there are guys on here that's seen my car but dont worry when its finish i'll be calling out that silver 3rd gen from the BX (j/k)...

The truth is if you have to ask how much something is, you can't afford it. Do not assume WE the rest of this rotary community blab our mouths about hear say. I know for one I don't talk about any hear-say. It always ends up with you looking like a jackass. As it does right now for you. You can call me out whenever you want, like I told you a few years back when you called me out for not being able to talk to you at a green light. My stock setup will run you any day of the week for $$$$. If trouble begins to happen between teams cause of this nonsense. You are at faultRoTaRyBoYz].

Justin H, I appologize on behalf of the Rotary community. RoTaRyBoYz, is out of line, do not think that the rest of us are the same way. Most of us are very professional and know how and when to ask certain questions. Please excuse his ignorant comments about hear-say. We really don't need problems between the Teams as AnthonyNYC mentioned. I've met you personally in the spring time and I have nothing negative to say about you. Kudos on a great season thus far. You have the dream job just about everyone on this forum would love to have...

eh my apologies Justin
thanks for clearing things up that

A) your nor paul requested the cars to be inspected
B)you think your times and the Rotaries are in Par and see no need for any major changes

I posted on Honda-Tech before you posted here (egg on my face)
since NHRA only reads that forum...I thought that was the best place to be let known
that NHRA should not mess with the most exciting class to watch in years!

Siguel posted some in car vids of Pica at the race

WTF?? The guy posted something he heard that was obviously wrong and everyone attacks him....why? Cause Justin posted here?? Who cares! The guy is cool but damn. Just because he SAID that they didn't request NHRA to inspect the cars, that means it's the truth? I can't tell you how many times that people have requested NHRA to inspect our Supra. We always "heard" who it was but they of course denied it. Who the hell is gonna step up and say "yeah i'm scared of those cars so i tried to get them thrown out"?

Btw....the people that tried to get us were a few rotary guys and a certain Suby.

I'm a fan of both the rotary 75%....and the piston 25%. But i'm a 100% fan of racing and it pisses me off when people do ***** *** **** just so they won't lose. SO F*CKING CHICKEN ****!!!!!!

I'm not saying Paul or Justin did it cause like everyone has already stated....they are nice guys.

Who had the most to lose that weekend though? NHRA? doubtful! Why would they tech them at the last minute after already PASSING them? Knowing full well the amount of emotion and fan base they would be representing.

Bottom line is.....if the PR guys are here to stay.....i can ASSURE you this won't be the last time this kinda thing happens. I'll also bet any amount of money that noone will ever admit to it. That's the nature of the chicken **** game.

dude im starting to think that you have something personal against me...whatever it is im sure we can handle it via the PM box...

are u an idiot? what u just said makes no sence... people ask prices so they can know how much something cost, and if they dont know how much it cost then how can they afford it?
in the world of drag racing, most drivers talk smack about other cars & their drivers its call bragging rights...it gets worst when ur dominant or ur making more power and its expected so thats why most guys dont let it get to them...they just wait till the next event & try to beat the guy thats been talking ****...
i never said that justin is a bad person or bash him, because i dont know him at that level to say those things...i only repeted what i herd..
how many times ON THIS FORUM has smack been swap around between Abel & the PR racers and non of u guys did **** to stop it or even appoligized to the mentioned parties...u guys only decided to open ur mouths when justin came on here to clearify my comments...
Justin i have nutting against u, and the comments i made didnt start from me, i was only saying what i've herd so dont shoot the messanger...
alot of u fellas on here talk alot of **** & u'll got ***** foot when u saw justin...i cant believe that some of u guy are from NYC, so f'kin sad...
Jay why on earth whould i race u? we're on the same team, playing the same game on the same court... it doesnt make sence... plus if i had to race u it wouldnt be for $$ because i would feel bad talking ur money, u will need it to upgrade that "stock" setup u have...
at the track a few guys was saying that it was Paul who made the tech inspection happen... now is that true? i dont know i wasnt there when it happened so i cant say for sure paul did it...am i wrong for saying what i've herd? i guess im the only person on the rx7club that ever said a "he say"....rumors are just that untill its clarified by the involved parties, and even if they clarify the rumors theres always a posibility that they could be lieing to cover up the "he say"...

sorry if i made any of u ladies cry with my "he say", but dont let me catch u'll starting any "he say" cuz it'll have problems :-D
Justin ur a great competitor and i have all respect for u, please understand that i was only repeting what i herd and it wasnt ment to make u look bad

Mr jay u my friend is an ******* and u help to blow this whole thing out of purportion..but i dont hate u and i have nothing against u...we're from the BX and we both love rotarys so it dont make sence to fight...if u serious about that $$ money race im sure we can make it happen..BTW looking foward to finally meeting u at the bear mtn meet, i'll be walking with the other 1st gen (13b)so maybe we can waiger up there...

No Secret.
Just a proven combination that they all have been running from day one that has been tweaked and refined to what it's at now.
Everything under the hood of just every one of them you can buy at a speed shop. There's actually notting that's custom made one of a kind and trust me when I tell you that.

I believe you! I just said the secret comment cause i saw a couple pics of one of the 1st gens......and the guys who were working on the motor were covering it up so you couldn't see anything. I'm all for keeping a few secrets but when you build a racecar people wanna see it. You don't have to tell them every spec but at least show it off right?

Thanks for the links! At least one of those sparked my interest
