I am a very good artist and have many ideas but my eyesight is not that good. Box up a set and send them to me so i can get an artist's perspective.

no problem, I will box you up a set and put a check in the box for your time. will this work for you? your too funny.

Better than the drawing, why dont you take your spare time and go to the track and let see that MIAMI Power go down the track?

Take care funny boy and give a heads up before you go to the track and maybe i will go up and visit you. Free pointer jaja

What we are looking for is new cool ideas for our sticker.

Sorry about not posting more pics of our rotors in the web but there are some secret there. A patent is on the works but we still dont want the haters and those who dont want to put the time in for research to steal our idea. For Example Rohan from xtreme Rotary, oh sorry COPY PASTE ROTARY.

What exactly are you trying to patent? There might be more than you are showing but just making the rotor out of aluminum isn't a patentable item I don't think. If I understand the Curtis Wright patent correctly the items under patent protection were the fin cooling and the oiling arrangment. Could be wrong though...

Edgar I totally understand where you are coming from.. He copied the TB down to every nut & bolt , so its wise to patent your rotor.

Others have made rotors, but it's clear that you have little tricks that needs to be protected by a patent. I plan on visiting the "short pants- Tuna" in the spring, so maybe i'll get a first hand view on the rotors

I have seen the patent that mr. wright has and it is nothing like ours except it is a rotor. The idea of making a lighter rotor is the same but how we designed it is different.
What i dont understand is when we started with this project everyone expected us to fail. They said it would not work, it would melt, the apex seal slots would spread and so on. As of today, we went ahead and proved every one wrong. We are not saying that we are 100% finished with our research, but we are way farther than anyone had expected us to get.

We have asked for others to provide some examples of other people that have tested or ran an aluminum rotor in a rotary engine and still nothing. Yes, Mr Wright has or had a patent for his theory of the aluminum rotor but no sign of any documented tests.

My question is, Where are these famous rotors? And further more, why aren't they in production? The industry obviously wants them. This is the future for this incredible motor, not just for power but more importantly, fuel economy.

Please don't take this the wrong way but we just want to see facts, not theories. We can talk about aliens, Big foot, and other myths that people talk about. The facts are the facts and this is all we care about. All inventions can be improved over the course of time. I think that the current rotor being used has reached its maximum potential and it is time for a better, lighter, more productive part to help us reach the next level of performance.

Don't forget to throw some money in for shipping

Give me a call next week Edgar. I have a good friend who has a wealth of information about patents. I may have some info that you would benefit from.

Make sure you investigate the licensing rights that Mazda has on Wankel technology in the US. It would suck to go through all of that just to get a cease and desist order in the mail from them. What you are doing isn't a peripheral part to the engine.

I don't see any difference between his Rotor compared to the other guys that are making Apex seals & aluminum side plates.. He didn't copy their design, he simply reinvented the wheel- so to speak

with that said, I don't believe he should have a problem with Mazda etc..

Since patents take time its best to sell and prove yourself into the market by providing good parts and service.
That is why theres so many pat. pend. products.
Patent or not if these are what seem to be they will be sucessful.

I would think apex seals are similarly classified, and we know loads of aftermarket manufacturers.

I highly doubt that mazda will come on to this as a patent thing ... If anything they probably love all this kind of stuff to further increase their research since they're basically the only big name out there ... I'm am surprised that nobody makes block from scratch yet.

One of the major reasons Mazda's rotaries work is because of their rotor housings and the process in which they are constructed. If anyone successfully copies that design, you can bet Mazda will be knocking at the door.

This pics are dedicated to those who said that the rotor would melt and that they would not perform on a street application. This is proof that we should not speak or comment about some thing that's never been done. Nothing in this world is easy and if you don't try, nothing will ever be accomplish. We understand that more testing has to be done and it will be.
At the end of January we will be testing on a road race car and we will provide the result of our test.
thank you all for the support.

Edgar, Great job!

Have you considered using a thermal coating like the ones used on the piston crowns to help control heat.

BERRY,

WE HAVE CONSIDERED AND WE ALREADY HAVE A COATING THAT WE ARE PLANNING ON USING. WE WANT TO TEST WITH OUT COATING AND SEE ITS UN COATED POTENTIAL. AFTER THIS TEST WE WILL COAST AND RE TEST.

YES WE DO HAVE A VF3.

TRUST ME, WE HAVE NOT GIVEN ANY SECRET AWAY. WHAT YOU SEE ON THE WEB PICS IS JUST AN INDICATION OF THE SIDE SEALS, NOT A MACHINING PROCESS.
