Ladder bars are not "stock type " chassis, However I could be wrong maybe four door Rx-3's came stock with ladder bars. He is definetly a fats *** small tire car.

That's why I said 'stock type' chassis!
Anyways there's a difference between the 'chassis' and the 'suspension'. One thing that's common in the class is that none of them have tubs. They all got some type of aftermarket suspension part, tranny, rear end etc. Many cars come from factory with 4-links but none of them at that level are using the factory stuff.
The good thing about this so called 'stock chassis' class is that the chassis must remain stock and in place. No minitubs, 1/4chassis etc.
They should make classes based on tire size and leave the rules basically open. That's one way to keep everyone at the same level. You can only apply that much power to the ground.

1/2 track skids anyone?

Takes some ***** to drive that thing on that tire... Hats off to who ever setup the suspension & clutch in that thing .. Not bad from an all steel body with full glass on a small tyre

Now that you mention it, is that what's going on with the 10.5 class? Any chassis, any engine, and drivetrain, as long as you are running 10.5 tires?

Tranny is non suspension part and tubs are part of the unibody until there is none. I agree 100%, small tires will make for some badass fast racing. just look at our big brothers the v8's they run stock suspension and allow tubs to fit tires drag radial or slicks and thats some fun stuff to watch. make a class that u can run small tires only beef up the stock suspension parts and let the drivetrain be whatever the heck u want and no mini tubs either. slipper clutches and boost controllers and traction control can help tons with small tires applying power to the pavement.
