We went out last thurday for a testntune night.

My Mazda rx7 has been sitting around for 6 months and
decided to take it out for a test pass.

Not Bad for a fist pass.We only got 2 runs out of the night

1st pass was 6.80@79MPH letting off half track.
2nd pass was 6.50@109MPH.

My tack was not set right so i didn't know what i was shifting at.I just pulled on
the gears and let it rip.

Still getting a little stumble off the line.Once i figure out this problem, I think
we will get a nicer run.

Hey, are you guys planning on going out this coming Thursday?

 

Maybe.We are hoping to have some time and tune up the car a bit more.

Man I still havent figured out why my gauges are not working. It sounds really good though I am thinking of installing a Microtech dash. Let us know in advance when you will be at Irwindale

 

I was there and the car looked nice rene ..

 

We will probably head out this thursday and Sunday.

Irwindale started a new schedule adding Sunday testntune day from 10 am to 5 pm.

 

keep up the good work.. I tried a few all motor runs on my Rx3 last saturday, just to make sure it ran straight.. and to my surprise landed a few mid 10 second runs@126mph.. I say surprised cause I have some pretty big tires for all motor and the car handled them.. 29X12..I also tried a pair of nitrous runs and destroyed the ACT clutch im using..

yea.. engine dropped rpms when launched but recovered pretty fast.. theres a few pics online, from sunday, i'll try to post them..

Thats good to hear. I need to get my motor back together so i can go back out.

 

C'mon and get that engine together.Tell roach to build the motor already.Instead of building his scooter.
