You're never going to convince someone of the merit of your ways so just stop. There are many paths to speed including far weirder *ish than anything in this thread. There also is no BEST solution, because best is always in the eye of the beholder and has to do with personal experience. BlueRabbit knows small blocks and has one of the more wicked back halved cars around. Sounds like the OP knows and likes the rotary... good for him. If everyone only cared about speed per dollar we'd all be driving gutted fox body mustangs and that's a world that would suck mightily.

Thanks man.. I am too old to get into the hole v8 vs rotary debate.. I was a Ford guy before and my brothers have had everything old school from camaro's, torino, fairlanes, 65 gt, 76 cobra, 84gt350, 85gt, 91gt, challengers, ss trail blazer...... So I have learned to respect any well put together car. You know how it is, you tinker with whatever you have in your garage.. If I had the bad luck as some have had with countless blown rotaries I too would be driving a piston car. Just have to draw the line somewere.... For now I will keep pushing the 13b.
I have no beef with Lane or Hinson as they are local and have provided me short blocks and other FD parts. I dont want any beef as I know they have cars that can hand me my ***. Lane (Hinson guy) just made a bolt in chevy 12 bolt diff. Something I will be looking into. The only point I was making in the first post was how much crap they talk about rotaries and how the night ended...
Now has anybody looked at the chart I posted and what is your thoughts on the rpm vs mph?

Hey what was unmentioned ? no secrets here.. stock motor unported + gt35r t3 Kit + Autronic + Enzo Tuning.. Everything else in the car was bone stock with exception for the obvious to support 500rwhp bigger injectors, small intercooler and fuel pump and Et streets. Ok ok you got me i forget to mention the sparco steering wheel and shift **** lol Many people have seen my car.
Im not claiming you guys left stuff unmentioned, I was simply saying I was leaving stuff unmentioned by just saying stock engine and not mentioning, fuel, turbo, exhaust, manifold, intercooler, standalone, etc

SO.. Cam only eh... No port intakes nor slicks.. just cams... =p Pushrod = the magic engine

Rotaries have more of a stock block. I mean we only change apex seals and port the intake.
Everything else is stock.. SO rotaries push more power on "stock blocks"

For our short block to support 500- 600. We do apex seal swap. f FOR LSI to make 500 t0 600. How much of the block/head has to get modded?

props again to the o.p on the passes, i ran et streets 26/11.5's and didn't have the trouble's your having with traction, on stock rear fenders on a lowered car. so you shouldn't have a problem fitting them
