FB control arms

Does anybody make adjustable upper controls arms for a FB? I want to change my pinion angle to see if I can get my car to hook better, I have search but all I seem to find is FD stuff. Any help would be great. Thanks

Not sure, but they aren't hard to make.

Just get you some aluminum stock, 8 rod ends, a tap and some shims to fit the rod ends into the stock chassis brackets nice and snug.

I was thinking about building some but I dont want to mess up and die. I also need new bushings and figure that new control arms would have them already.

So, you don't want solid rod ends?

Chris Alston makes some nice urethane rod ends.

Here you go, http://mrcmfg.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=67

It's more expensive than a DIY but you probably knew that already.

Are you using stock pickup points on the chassis and rear end? The upper arms can not be done if so. They will bind the suspension up and crack the chassis pick up points.

I don't see how they would bind, I could see them cracking but some battle boxes would fix that.

You will have to get rid of the watts link and replace it with a tri link.( and panhard) You can adjust the pinion angle with the tri link ends. This modification eliminates the two upper arms completely. I use this set up with a panhard bar and the lower control arms from Billy at RESPEED. He makes great parts.

If you lower the car without adjusting the pinion angle you will wear it out prematurely.

I see now this is in the drag racing section. I use this set up for road racing. I am not sure how well it would hold up under repeated violent launches. You have wider tires, more hp, etc.
