explain to me how traps relate to 60fts.

HI guys I was just curious how come it seems the better the 60' times I get the worse traps I get. Is their a general rule of thumb?

Without getting into a very detailed description the quicker you get to the finish line the less time you have to build speed. Speed is also the only true indication of HP, you always tune for MPH not ET. You just have to make sure your driving consistently.

On the drag car i use to run every once in a while i would accidentally leave in second gear (auto). I would loose about a tenth and gain about three MPH.

^yep and that's why if you spin out really bad at the start you will have a high trap speed.
