drivetrain strengths 20b/fc
running my fc next year in drifting but there isnt much help in that way so im asking the drag guys for advice..
anticipating 400hp 380tq or so?
questions
how much power/torque before i start breaking parts? axles, diffs, drive shafts, trannies?
what clutch would you guys recommend for a 380-400lb/ft tq push type for fc?
success stories, failures? other things i should note?
thanks guys.

I would say that breaking things for the most part depends on how bad you beat up on the car. When I was at 353hp, I would beat the crap out of my car literally everyday. I never broke anything in the drive train. I used an ACT HD clutch with Prolite flywheel. Thats all I can really offer. Oh def put in a pinion snubber.

its the big clutch dumps off the line that will bring it unstuck, if you can resist massive dumps and do more transition skids from the line then you can nurse stock irs .
Or just spend another 2g and slap in a unbreakable driveshaft shop pro level rear end in it , drop the ******* out of the clutch day in day out .
Also agree on a pinion snubber , ive got one and my rear end is 100% 1989 spec stock bushes an all, ive done 40ish passes , 450/550 hp nill breakages
Im not sure how hard it is on the driveline doing clutch kicks mid corner, unless your beast has enough power to just pedal it and break it free anyway , but i think youll just have to show us vids to let us make sure its smokey enough
