This hurts my feelings. Why everybody chopps up these hard to find old school cars to make them drag cars th at will never see the street. Wouldn't it be better to own a fast street rx3 than a fast trailer only car? Then again thats just me.

I guess it just depends on the owner. I personally wouldnt want a oem stock one or even a semi fast street one. Just a wheelie popin moster! But thats just me. I am sure there are tons of die hard rotary lovers that would love a oem stock one too!

Wonder how complete this car is?

Sometimes the shell you find is just to far gone and has no other option but to go tube chassis race car. I would never chop up a clean r100, rx2/3/4 ect. But a rusted basket case like my rx2 has no other choice but to be cut up...

^^^^^ true true, but with modern technology and a clean old school rotary you can have a 10 second street car and not have to chop it up. A few years ago there was a guy with a red r100 running 10s and driving the car back and forth to the track. It realy was a perfect little toy ...

I sometimes regret taking my car to the level i have. If i had to do it over again i probably would have changed a few things. One of these days i will have a hot street RX-3. I still plan on having my car street legal but i doubt i would drive it on the street much!

That's fun until you go to the track and something breaks, which will happen sooner or later and then your stuck towing the car home. Been there and done that. Gas too expensive to drive a car that gets 5mpg to drive an hour to the track. Not worth getting busted racing on the street to get thrown in jail, have license taken away and car impounded. Do I need to go any further? Aside from the jail time, I have been down all those roads and they all suck. Either keep the car a full race car and keep it on the track,or build a nice street daily driver. That's my .02. If I were to get another street driver, I would get a nice FC or FD and keep my RX2 for the track.

I like my rx3 just the way it is, don't think i'll ever cut it up. Maybe do a turbo swap. I drive it all the time and it gets lots of attention even whit the faded paint. Lol

I think they are way cooler when they are cut up and slammed on the ground with huge tires and ridiculous engines. Perma-boner.
