Ok guys, i just talked to Joey on the phone and he said he made a really big mistake. He said that he was mad at Enzo because he wouldn't tune his car and he is sorry for everything he said. He went on to tell me that he really looks up to Enzo and was just really hurt that he couldn't have his car tuned by "a truly amazing gringo". I hope there are no hard feelings.

finally, for the other ppl who have cared enough to read this, enzo is not perfect (suprise suprise) but i can tell you that he IS humble, most of the stuff that i brought up here i don't think he has ever mentioned on this forum, besides a random boat vid or 2. i don't want this to be seen as anything other than what it is, a customer wanting to set the record straight and using accomplishments that enzo would normally never mention himself.
no one is perfect, I got the chance to meet the guy last week (thanks roan). Very nice dude, you would never know what he does or is capable of just by meeting/chatting with him. all I know is I can't wait til I can get away from work for a day to get my car down to him for a tune.

I like how it always comes back to Roan lol.

On my windshield I have a sticker for another shop but yet every time I need help or have a question I get nothing but support from Enzo. A few weeks ago my friend went to Cali and I did not have access to his dyno, Enzo called me over, spent quite a few hours and helped me on Enzo's dyno. He stayed late and was busy with other cars but still helped. When time came to pay, he did not accept anything, he says he was just helping and don't worry about it. When I have questions about what timing he ran on E85 or split or air fuels, he not only will help but also show me his other dyno sheets of his brother and other cars.

Car stuff aside, Enzo is a good person, he's a family guy too. I'm glad you worked things out.

Anthony

p.s. besides im afraid to load my engine up that hard for that long, so show us how its done! lol

Hey guys...this is very unfortunate...

I want to let everyone in this forum know that regardless of whether this guy was sad/upset/hurt or whatever you want to call it due to Enzo not tuning his car, his behavior is 100% unacceptable. This is the type of stuff that hurts the image of different people, in this case us puertorricans...

I'd like to go on the record saying that, I was born and raised for 26years in PR and that as a whole, prricans are humble and appreciate others regardless of their race and that this idiot needs to be quieted because all it does is hurt all of us. This is the kind of crap that makes people think we are full of ourselves...yes we are fast...so?, so is everyone else in the US and Australia, what is this idiot's point?

To all the "white boys" I apologize for this idiot's behavior. This should've never been turned into a race issue and it is very unfortunate that it got to this point. In the end this is a sport we practice and advances have been possible due to everyone's involvement, not just "puertorricans" or "white boys" or "australians"....it has been everyone's accomplishments that have driven the rotary sport.

Thanks to the Mods for locking this guy out...

Chris

p.s.oh...and to ErnieT, Anthony NYC, Enzo...etc.......we all know how freakishly powerful your cars are, no need to prove anything to anyone
