Mazda 3 converted to RWD with a PISTON motor....OMG!! lol Bergenholtz will be building the motors for him. So was he just having too many failed motors to compete or what's the deal? Was it just money and resources?

Mazda is really pushing this car, 2 months ago I think turbo magazine had the Mazda3 on the front cover and had a pretty nice article about the car. Here's a pic...

I realize this decision maybe disapointing to some. I assure you I am not completely done with the rotary powerplant. We are going to continue to work with the 13b and 20b and will be involved with a couple of teams in both the modified and street classes.
Even though I was not able to drive the RX7 as our primary vehicle next year I am very pleased that I could stay true to the Mazda brand from begining to end. I hope everyone still continues to come out and support our team. And as I stated in the past my phone # is posted on my site and anyone that is seriously considering running a 13b powerplant for any class i would be willing to share all of our R&D we have collected over the years.

I think you should make a street class car
Or better yet, put some drag radials on the 7 and bump it to the drag radial class with Chris Efontis and lemmie run it! ..........wishful thinking I suppose....

Right on ErnieT I'd go see it. I saw a vid of reactive running a 9.7. I saw on vosko.net a vid of a 7 at budds creek said ernieT smoking Jimmy. I'd like to know when your at the Creek dee I am on a mission to learn as much about 7's as possible I've been typing and searching for all rotary racers to learn about rotary's and to prove I am going to be a rotorhead.
You guys really help out thank you Dee hope you stick around the 7club site.
