Exclamation Cage Measurements

Question for the big boys with cages.

I recently picked up a 10pt CM cage from S&W race cars www.swracecars.com

During the mockup, the main hoop seems way small (46" at the widest point)
and the halo is about 2 in short also. 35" where my measurements say 37" is right

I dont know if its b/c im not running an interior, but it seems to small.

Can anyone measure their main hoop widest point to widest point for me?

Thanks

ooh this is all for a fd

Do you still need this? I think it is just like Ernie said, the interior takes a lot of room. I had my cage made without the interior and now that I decided to register it and drive it on the street again, I have major issues getting things to fit right.

It's really close to the frame of the car so I have more room but I wish I had it done with the interior in the car.

If you can, By my measurements the main hoop should be 49 1/2 and go strait down rather then tapper in. This way i can use the strait door beams that I already have.

Additionally the halo should be 37 inches with the last 6" dog legging down to a with of 29" so it sits higher up on the halo. Once I make a final mockup ill post all measurements with angles if anyone wants to bend thie own. JUst hope S&W bends me a new main hoop and halo without any complaning

I was able to get S&W to add the extra inches in the main hoop and make me a custom halo

here are the pic's all tacked up

I just need to get the steering shaft all set, then I can start final welding everything
