Do you really need an excuse to buy an old school rotary?

Don't kid yourself thinking that this will be an easy project. You have alot of work and money that needs to go into this, especially with all the questions your asking. If you love projects and learning new skills and building, then this is a good pick up. If you don't have time and or skills, then this will end up sitting around in your back yard and up for sale a year from now. Just something to think about. It's rare to see builds like this ever get finished. It might be in your own interest to get something a little more complete. I know I sound like a drag, but I have been down this road before and just want you to realize what your getting into. Good luck, I hope you get it.

hahaha.... you never know... I may have a FD up for sale before you know it,.....

But serious. I know this will be a long project and I cant say were this will lead me but for the price I cant pass it up. Go back and look at my interest on the drag section with old school. I have always had a soft spot for them.

almost 2.5 years and not much has changed. BUT I am wanting to now start this build. I have never built a 1/2 chassis car nor any car from the ground up. My thoughts are to get it to a chassis shop and have them set it up. Thinking of doing a ladder bar set up instead and recage it.?

I looked at ordering a kit from www.autoweldchassis.com/kits.ivnu

Would like to know what others have done on the front to get it low enough and not rub.
