Well been driving on the street for the last three years (20,000) miles on the HKS setup, fast road with corners as well , when I arrive at the strip I click the rear dampers to the softest level, after the strip click them back to the hardest setting

Just did the same search, the only thing I found someone had them on a PS13 and broke after 100 miles, seems they were faulty to begin with.
We got three guys in the UK all running the HKS Drag coilovers on the street with no breakages. They are soft so not ideal for circuit racing but for the street they are fine imo
They way they are valved it allows the rear to stay squatted on the launch and slowly rise

I had the HKS coilovers and sold them. Went to a more simple solution. Eibach springs and Koni adjustables. I went from high 1.6 60's to consistant 1.40 60' times with just this change.

Blitz, you can also get the ET streets, same size in 16", and they fit the FD rims nicely, you just have to drop some pressure to get a consistant patch (they bulge a bit) You will definitely drop some 60' times with them.

I've been looking into a new setup as well, Mike, but I'm coming from the other side. I'm currently running stock R1 suspension and cutting low 1.5xs with my best being a 1.50. I'm getting a ton of weight transfer and the car squats hard, but I'm thinking I'm wasting some energy on the launch. It looks great, but i'm guessing i would be better off with something besides the stock stuff.

Yep I know thats what I run already run 16 inch 10.5 was looking for something better.
Cheers for the info Ernie, I may go 15 inch on inch wider tyre as you have got see if I can crack 1.3 60fts, or get the full on Drag versions on 15s

I used the 11.5's on the stock 16" FD wheel and they worked just as well too. I only bought the 15" weld rear to go with my 15" front skinny.

anyone have a good source or websites were I can try to find these in AUS or Japan? I had a member PM about a set for sell but he decided to keep them... FucHing teaser! I was pumped all weekend about geting them but got a pm this morning saying he was keeping...........

i have done plenty of 1.3... 60ft on dirty old second hand HKS hyperD units, 8 rears 7 fronts (**** it could be stiffer as i cant push its *** down ) , i think its got more to do with other **** that just the shocks we have , IrS is a bitch , i think driving/launch style has a heap to play with it, as when i used my two step building 12 ish psi it did 1.4... 60fts, free revs were way better . In my setup two step just got the bitches wet

100% agree. My best 60's were free revs. I am going to try some stiffer , very stiff Rears the next time out, maybe this weekend.
And don't worry Richard, I will give you first dibs on anything coming up for sale like my last set of stock wheels with et streets!
