Any good drag specific coilovers besides HKS Hipermax Drag?

I've been searching around but can't find any decent 90/10 or similar coilovers besides the HKS. I am just trying to find out if there are any other off the shelf drag suspension setups that are a little more friendly to the pocket book.

Im also a lil interested. I think we should make a do's and dont's list for coilovers/springs. I personally was just planing on keeping it simple with with ebiach springs and tociko struts once I get off deployment next month. A lot of the experienced guys are just going to tell you to search.

I am plenty experienced, and I have been searching for a while. The FD chassis just isn't seen too often as a drag racing platform by the aftermarket, so it is hard to find some proper parts for drag racing unless you fab them yourself many times. I've looked at koni's and eibachs as a possibility, but I would rather have a package front suspension that will match nicely with a live rear axle. I am in the 1.6's right now on stock suspension and a removed front sway bar. I would ultimately like to get my 60s down to the low 1.3 range.

Removing the front sway bar reduces some weight and improves weight transfer to the rear by allowing the front end to come up quicker and with less resistance to rise.

I made my own custom suspension using fully adjustable drag shocks.
90/10 fronts & double adj rears

I was gonna offer them as a kit but no one was interested so tough luck..

Unless your really serious about drag racing I feel there's no need to use anything other then stock suspension..

My brother's car has eibach springs and stock struts and goes 1.4 sixty foot's with ease..
Can probably go 1.38~1.39 on a good day..

The car is 80 percent drag and may see 10 to 20 street miles on the weekends. Would you mind giving me a litte more info on your custom setup?

Does anyone else have anything else to chip in. I fell like the Q wasnt really addressed as far as alternatives to the HKS drag coilovers. Plus this is a fequently asked Q and pretty sure it will prolly get asked again in the near future.

I think the question has been covered a few times. There are no specfic drag coilovers besides HKS and the ones Ari is working on. Your choices are HKS, wait on Ari's, try a combo of Koni/Tokico/stock w/eibach springs or build yourself a custom kit using QA1's (or other drag struts). If you are not worried about welding perches and such on your car I would do the QA1's double adjustable ones. Just make sure you discuss the cars weight when buying the combo.
