9.2 pass from Baytown IFO.
1.44 60 ft. Didn't heat the tires enough and as you can see spun 1st gear. Awesome day!

Air temperature? I'm thinking the sensor is out of range. Ran the Pp for 20 minute before the runs this weekend instead of 5 minutes before. And Temps were the same. Started the run at low 60s and ended at high 130s. Or the other intercooler is junk. Car is running good as is so will leave it alone for now and chase that 8.9 pass. Maybe if I flat shift the trans the number will come down a bit.
Had the best day racing in a long time. 9.1 and a 9.2 with no issues. At a event with a big crowd!!!
What's my power limit? When it launches a seal out the exhaust. Then build another motor and turn the boost down 3psi. Lol
What's crazy about this car is. Single disc clutch. Stock TurboII ignitor and coils. E85 . Street port. Clutch assisted trans. 4 link to stock chassis locations. 2650lbs. And stock 1st gen front breaks!

9.1 at 155 60 ft was bad. 1.42
Buy the shifting was faster. You can see it in the datalog
If if if it had a better launch it could have gone 8.9. Crazy!

Made a few changes since Houston. main thing was finally ditching the doug nash and going with a G101A.
New sintered disc
New JGS500 wastegate
Holley 5 bar map sensor
Had a chance to run the car at Ennis IFO a few weeks ago. No testing with the new parts just strait to qualifying for the event. It arrived on a thursday and the event was sunday. On wastegate spring of 21psi shifting clutchless and WOT it went 10.0 at 136. Was exciting and the trans shifted smooooth.
Then tried to up the boost to the 155mph power level. Well it spun and bit off the line. let off then went WOT then shifted to second gear clutchless. Then came the tire shake. IT was so bad and so fast teeth on the ring gear broke off. Ring and pinon was bought from a swap meet 5 years ago for 60$. So cant complain. Tire shake felt like I was racing on rail road ties.
Got that fixed this week so testing Friday.

Good point about the u joint. My old shaft from the same guys did not have greasable joints and lasted 5 years.
I was thinking they sold me a used yoke. It does look like the yoke broke though.
it was on a pass!!!

Thanks!
Running 9s was affordable.
This trying to run a 8 sucks.
anyone have opinions on yokes? Speedmaster 32 spline CNC billet looks nice. Also will go with 1350 u-joint no grease fittings.
After having the shaft out of the car it is really hard to tell what broke first. The driveshaft shop said it was the yoke and suggested a Mark Williams or Moser.
