IDRC and BOTI are Wack, They should be glad racers even show up. Those F-ers use to make me add 400lbs to my rx3 to race. I say run what you brung and if they decide to enforce the outdated rules dont ever go back.

The only way would to build a 3/4 chassis or full tube chassis and screw the rules.

You got lucky then because you're not legal accourding to their rules.

http://www.battleoftheimports.com/do...09prostock.pdf

"All rear wheel drive cars must retain factory floor pan front and rear aside from 6sq feet for trans tunnel."

"Rear end swaps are allowed but you must retain factory mounting points and suspension"

I dont' know how you could do this with a back halved car and you're not allowed to use a 3 rotor.

Looks like your old man pulled some strings.

No need to pull strings , everybody in the east coast knows that Kilo Racing brings it , Thats what puts asses in the seats , BOTI AND IDRC know it and thats what its all about $$$$$$$ on any given t&t day any track out east has a minimum of 250 spectators ,on a full blown event 1500+ do the math ..... what was the outcome of the last even not event in fontana 200 including the carshow guys lol and it not the heat cause fl is 100% and 105 degrees thats @ 0930 am track conditions hit the 125 easy , the diference back east is that people go see the grudge matches the **** talking and everything that has made this cosanostra , out here that dont exist everybody gets but hurt and takes **** to personal , thats why my car will never see a cali track again not until NSCRA comes out here

Kilito give those pist-on cars hell.
Nobody here on the West Coast can fvck with any of those cars you listed. The Rotary scene here and import drag racing in general has been dry. As much as I would like to be out there racing my work schedule does not permit me to participate now. Hopefully in the next couple of months I'll make time to get my car going.
I have to take my hat off to Jay for sticking with his car and not giving up on his RX2. That little 12A is running pretty damn hard. The new setup will get him close to the Honda's, but they definitely have a jump on all of us. Even if we could get 12 cars out there to compete in the All Motor Class the pist-on powered vehicles would run away with the prize money.
Very sad but true.

C'mon Manny, you know I can take some smack talk. I would like to see your car hit the tracks down here again. We can definitely use another rotary drag racer in SoCal. Don't let a couple of hearsayers keep you from doing what you love. I know you miss it biotch.

Albert, my offer still stands brother. Anytime you need help getting your car together give me a call and I'm there. You're not that far from being done. A couple of work weekends and it'll be there.

Jay, just talk to the asian guy that runs BOTI. I can't remember his name at the top of my head, but he is a very cool guy and easy to work with. I'm sure you'll be able to cut your car and use it.

Manny, you know how it is. It's all numbers and that's the bottom line.

I'm working on a couple of things to get the car in tip top shape for these honda guys. Looking to buy some lighter brakes, driveshaft, new intake, ram air, ect. I'm sure I'll be plenty competitive come December. Heck, there might be surprises in October

Talk to the people who run the races out west as a group, not alone. Two voices are louder than 1. I'm sure they will even the rules out for you folks.

I'm trying man... I have been emailing the event holders and telling them our situation, but like you, Eric and I have been saying, it's going to take more than one or two guys.

I'll have to talk to him at the next event. I still havent' got a response from the president of IDRC yet. I sent him two emails already.
I guess I'll just have to track him down the next time I see him. My car will be ready next year so he'll have to deal with me, cutting my paychecks.

I think a Honda won because Varon fouled out at the line. Looks like he had a problem with the line lock or something because his car jumped forward when he was stagging and broke the beams. Too bad because he was letting the HOnda guys have it!
