Fey wanted to do this for years now.
I've been keeping him rotary but timing now is best.
Easier to build two of everything at the same time.

Jay he'll be running 2.3l Mazda mzr with a gforce trans

whats up with you guys , what drew me to this cult 20 years ago was the the challange that you could make all this power with such a little engine, that is the rotary engine , what drew me to this community was the engine , the rotary engine .
you guys are free to do what you like with your cars but in my honest opinion this r100 will never be the same , even if it makes more power "reliable" which we are yet to see.
there is people out there running low 7's and 6's with 13b engines, last summer i met nick with rx3 from qsr stable out of sydney , his 20b engine is 5 years old , and he ripped couple of 194 mph passes and very low 7 sec , not bad for a 5 year old engine and a 3/4 chassis car.
again im not against piston engines , there is plenty of them out there that make tons of power , good for them , but what got us together here on this forum is fact that we love rotaries, and now we are ditching them.
how ironic.

Shame on you.

Enzo you disappoint me. You stood for something big in this rotary community. I used to look out for your FC on youtube with excitement. Now I think of your FC with sadness. Of how great that car used to be, it stood for something iconic, and you have just ripped that right out of the heart of the rotary community.

Your achievements were huge, but just as quick as you gained that respect, all this has overshadowed it in a small space of time.

It's easy to go from hero to zero dude.

Your FC was one of my favourites, now I can't bear to look at the videos.

This community is already small as it is, last thing we need is someone like you 'JUMPING SHIP'
and convincing others to do the same.

My love for rotaries is still the same and that will never go away.
One day I'll build a 3 rotor for myself.
But that doesnt mean every car I own or work on has to be.

Enzo, I definetely don't approve of these "swaps", especially on the R100, that just kills me, but if that's what you guys want to do than it's up to you guys.
However that being said, I don't think this thread belongs in a rotary drag racing forum. Maybe you will get more love over in the "other engine conversions" forum. Alot of people are taking it like you are putting the rotary down and making a joke out of it but there are some die hard rotary fans here that don't like it. Just my .02

Enzo that is perfectly fine to feel this way. but why put salt in an open wound with this ******* thread?. your not a true die hard mazda rotary engine enthusiast. so you will never understand what the R 100 means to a rotary engine enthusiast. I mean you could post what ever the **** you want. but at this point, ur looking like an ***.

Hey Allen, speaking of that, do you have any new pics of your car and setup you can share? Lets get some new threads going. I'm bored being the only one posting anymore. Where's Ernie, Anthony, Roan, and all the other usuals. Has everyone quit or what?

Yep, it's been dead, but we need "rotary" projects up here guys, c'mon. Enzo, I know you got some threads you can start with your brothers car or the shop 7 with the rota.

This got to be a prank or just trying to **** someone off???? They're thousands of rotary fans looking for these old school body with no luck and someone has one and wants to **** it up.I don't get it but to each it's own, I understand is the owner's option to do as he pleased but if he wants a piston engine so bad IMO he should sell this body to someone who truly value the old school Mazda and buy himself a Datsun,Toyota body etc.... I'm not a hater on piston engines both rotaries and 4 cylinder piston engines have produce some serious HP but the fate of this R100 is not right, just my opinion and good luck to the owner
