ALL MOTOR Record here we come!!!

ILL MAKE IT SIMPLE

TIME/DATE: 4/20/08
LOCATION: IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY
TEMP: 75F
TRACK: FAIR

First pass we got 6.73@105mph with a 1.56 60ft, track was still cold.

Second pass we got 6.32@107mph with a 1.36 60ft, minor tweak, track got warm.

Thrid pass we got 6.32@111.19mph with a 1.38 60ft, minor tweak, best MPH of the day.

Last pass we got 6.30@107mph with a 1.35 60ft, minor tweak, best ET of the day.

Just going by the ET and MPH we are around 9.83 to 9.85 1/4 mile, and around 138 to 140 MPH.

All we need to do is perfect our 60ft, and hope for a low 9.7 pass.

VIDEOS FOR PROOF!

6.32@111.19MPH

6.30@107MPH

HERE ARE SOME FLAME VIDEOS!

That car boogies! What's the setup like?

What's the record that you are trying to beat, who holds it now.

Nice passes, car sounds great.

Awesome Rene! So, what exactly is needed for a record in the books? Back to back 1/4 mile passes with video, etc? Time to take advantage of this cooler weather before summer hits.

That depends on whose book! Guiness book of records!
Kilo's record was done during a sanctioned NHRA event where weight and fuel is tested. Now there's Nopi/NHRA with a different set of rules etc.
Honesty in the end it does not matter. Rene just needs to keep at it and he will have that record!
Good luck Rene.

Yup true ,but for now i want to surpass my goal beyond the limits of the rotary.

My Rx7 is still setup with old NHRA rules,so running a nopi race would be nice to race.
If i had the time and money i would do many race events, but it is hard to do with a
business and no sponsors.

Robert,No changes to the car just tuning and some data, still got the same setup as last year.

thanks

in actualaty forty's car aka VARON RACING is a 3/4 chassis and yes it is the worlds fastest all motor rotary and it does have a 20b power plant also built and tuned by JESUS PADILLA

on the 13b side the record holder is JESUS PADILLA with a 9.927 @ 131.97 mph true stock chassis hitting the scales @ 2104 lbs no tubs , no fiber glass , no fender streching and no coilovers oe carpet , oe dash oe winshield only lexan on the doors just got of the horn with him this morning and and thats were i got my facts he wishes RENE " all the luck in the world and that you are in the right track "

Thanks for the heads up.

Jesus Padilla is a nice person,we were talking at the track last year and discussed
about his car being a little hard to drive. And true,I am having some trouble moving
around a bit at higher speeds. These last few sessions look good and straight on video but i am moving around side to side.If i can stick one straight down the middle i can get better times and more MPH.
