That car boogies! What's the setup like?

What's the record that you are trying to beat, who holds it now.

Nice passes, car sounds great.

mazda1200 04-21-08 01:45 AM

all you need to do now is drope some weight on the car and you should be there because 2050 is lot of weight that you guys are carring on the car..

junito1 04-21-08 06:29 AM

sounds hella bridge ported.

SOunds like a bad ass tranny too.

61620B 04-21-08 11:36 AM

2050!!! MORE LIKE 2100LBS.

I wish my car weighed 2050,I know peter will bag on me for this,so shut up peter.

Yeah i need to knock off some weight and bring it around 2000 to 2050lbs.

Well as all you know Jesus Padilla is the fastes ALL Motor Rotary out there,

but in time We want to be the fastes ALL MOTOR and bring it to the WestCoast.

nice job renee.. did you have to make any changes to the mechanics of the car or was it just driving?

ultimatejay 04-21-08 02:42 PM

Awesome Rene! So, what exactly is needed for a record in the books? Back to back 1/4 mile passes with video, etc? Time to take advantage of this cooler weather before summer hits.

pportrx3 04-21-08 08:31 PM

Wow thats really fast, congrats

That depends on whose book! Guiness book of records! :rlaugh:
Kilo's record was done during a sanctioned NHRA event where weight and fuel is tested. Now there's Nopi/NHRA with a different set of rules etc.
Honesty in the end it does not matter. Rene just needs to keep at it and he will have that record! :)
Good luck Rene.

61620B 04-21-08 10:43 PM

Yup true ,but for now i want to surpass my goal beyond the limits of the rotary.

My Rx7 is still setup with old NHRA rules,so running a nopi race would be nice to race.
If i had the time and money i would do many race events, but it is hard to do with a
business and no sponsors.

Robert,No changes to the car just tuning and some data, still got the same setup as last year.

thanks

in actualaty forty's car aka VARON RACING is a 3/4 chassis and yes it is the worlds fastest all motor rotary and it does have a 20b power plant also built and tuned by JESUS PADILLA :icon_tup:

on the 13b side the record holder is JESUS PADILLA with a 9.927 @ 131.97 mph true stock chassis hitting the scales @ 2104 lbs no tubs , no fiber glass , no fender streching and no coilovers oe carpet , oe dash oe winshield only lexan on the doors :icon_tup: just got of the horn with him this morning and and thats were i got my facts :hahaha: he wishes RENE " all the luck in the world and that you are in the right track " :icon_tup: :icon_tup: :icon_tup:

61620B 04-23-08 11:08 PM

Thanks for the heads up.

Jesus Padilla is a nice person,we were talking at the track last year and discussed
about his car being a little hard to drive. And true,I am having some trouble moving
around a bit at higher speeds. These last few sessions look good and straight on video but i am moving around side to side.If i can stick one straight down the middle i can get better times and more MPH.
