Abel Ibarra-10-04-07- 4.7!!!!

Got some vid of Abel running last night at Irwindale. Pulled out a sick pass at 4.7 @ only 118mph. Good launch, good first, second, and partial third. Looks like he's ready for Pomona. Can't wait to see him run the 1/4. Good luck Abel.

4.7 @ 118 Talk about letting off. They need to get that thing down the 1/4 mile.

Well, Irwindale is really the only dragstip you can practice at here in Orange County and it is only a 1/8 mile stip. We'll see how he does in Pomona.

Slowly but surely he will be back in action. I seriously thought he had gave up already but he has been working very hard.

Dude I dont know who told you he works at a Ford Dealership!!!! Because you are totally wrong. He built his R100 and 3rd Gen FD with money out of his own pocket without any sponsors, and that is alot of CHIPS. He doesnt have the funding he did before but he gets by.

By the way I just got a call a few minutes ago and Abel is at Irwindale Speedway tonight LOL
