Exactly why I would want it, because of the already welded AN fittings

Unfortunately flying Mazda again.....

Well I figured I would through an update to my project as a install note for anyone thinking about purchasing or already purchased Rotary-Works Titanium Studs. I filled my motor with water last week, and this week went to finish up a few things. To my surprise I had a water spot under the car and it was dripping between the motor and trans. Pretty obvious what had to be done, so I removed the trans, and Clutch/Flywheel assembly. Very top Stud was leaking, which didn't make sense, I used the Mazda OEM tention bolt washers, and Rotary-Works provides the second washer for there nut. I installed as there pictures suggest on there website so why the leak??? Well this is why, the pictures shown on the website show the Studs installed backwards. Which makes the threads of the stud a perfect place for water to seep through.... drip......drip......drip. Anyways I reversed the studs one by one, which then the OEM tension bolt washer lined up perfectly with the nonthreaded section of the stud, and sealed, and the Rotary-Works provided washer allows clearance for the nut to be torqued down to 30lb with no bottoming out issues. So moral of the story, Rotary-Works Titanium Stud kits, great product, Shitty install picture directions.

here is there install direction picture.

Here is how I installed them.

And this is where you can expect water to come through if you install them this way.

So if you don't want you motor to leak when using these studs, make sure you have the less threaded side of the stud facing up.

No matter how you do them, put a small dab of Silicone on the nut to avoid leaks later.

First start up video, turn up the volume and enjoy. Lots of tuning to do but a huge step in the right direction.

Thanks, Dyno will be soon, right now I'm getting it ready for a event to just show up at do some short pulls, and make sure all the bolts are tight. Dyno will probably be in August or September.

Getting some testing done before next weekends Powercruise Event. Should be able to dyno at the event, and I'm entered in the Roll Race, and 1/8 mile Drag Racing. We shall see what happens. Here's a quick video of a few short burnout logs I did in our parking lot.

I've been busy with a new job and bringing my car back home since I was able to finish heating and insulating my garage. Here's what I've been up to getting ready for 2016.

Since I've had the car home I've had a lot more time to spend getting bugs worked out from last year, biggest improvement is the L/A IC setup. Here is some progress I still need to connect the turbo side but the hard part is done.

This didn't turn out to plan, plumbed the car for the L/A IC and the Core leaks "F--- ME". So I called Bell Intercoolers they said send it back in its current state and 99% chance they can fix the braze points...... We'll see they will have it by Tuesday.

Looking good, for s second, I thought you were going to mount the BOVs to the cold side of the intercooler.

It hurt to stop the progress for a leaky core let me tell ya, but it was that and get it fixed right or have built in water injection. Both BOVs are going on the cool side just on the pipe, same as the mock up pics. I like your thinking tho, on the IC would free up some serious room over my spark plugs.

It's back and ready, intercooler tested and final fitment completed. Also in the mean time waiting for the return I got my pump system electrical complete, line locks wired to steering wheel switch, and window net installed. Added one more switch for future parachute launcher.😄

Some pics to keep this thread going, I have some testing when the injectors come back, and if all goes well the car will get a WOT tune at a 1/8 mile fun run event in my area at a air strip. Plenty on room to log some pulls and get some passes on the new setup.

I should change the name of my thread to "about to be the worlds fastest Stock Body IRS Mazda RX7 convertible"
Here is a glimpse of my weekend beating out over 30 V8 cars and being the only import.
1st in ET at 6.1 in the 1/8
2 in MPH at 108mph in the 1/8

Cars ready for more
